Loooved this DC Note. We got lots of different interactions from all the girls and even MINX coming from Dami's phone 🤯 It was totally worth it even if Siyeon was like DO NOT INTERACT for the first 7 mins of the note LOL. sorry Siyeon, Love Shake and WDYCTMH are iconic BOPS!
We respect their wishes to not talk about Minx, but they seem so happy. We never got this much Minx from them. And just musically speaking, Love Shake is a devilish song that gets stuck in your head for all eternity😂I really hope one day they completely close this chapter of their past for good with a rock cover of their two Minx songs. Btw, did you know Love Shake is a remake of a Dalshabet song? Just found out about it recently.
Maybe DaMi plotting some group therapy with this Love Shake move as shadow leader. The fact SiYeon is trapped in a corner chair getting her make-up done and cannot easily run away seems planned 🤣 Got to see Strategic and big brain DaMi in their Dreamcatcher Mind episodes, would be surprised if she didn't make note of SiYeons escape routes before pressing play.
Also, fully agreed. Love Siyeon and sorry to her but the growing peace with the MINX content was great to see, this NOTE was too fun.
@@DoroboInu yes, I'm really sorry for Siyeon and it must've been a real trauma bc she seemed so devoted to being a singer. But the fact that the traumatised leader, the person with the ugly blonde bob and the two se*ualized maknaes could move on before her...I really wanna know what happened😂I hope Siyeon can find her peace. (I don't wanna sound mean I hope that's clear. She must have her reasons and I think she just really hated the concept. JiU for example seems to be more open towards cute concepts. But that's just bc she's so cute😌.)
@@moongirl8807 Don't want to make a bigger deal of it cuz Siyeon has successfully moved on if not made peace. BUT, just from the DC content I've seen, Siyeon was a singer in a band for 5 years during school. Big fan of Metal bands like Baby Metal and ONE OK ROCK. She said once that when they told her to dance she told them something like "I didn't come here to dance, I came here to be a singer." Dunno where that went (glad it did )cuz I think she dances more than any1 besides maybe SuA now 😂
Extrapolating from that tho, SiYeon didn't move to Seoul to become an Idol. Think all of the other girls from DC intended to be idols from the start and even then MINX was a sensitive subject for years.
Siyeon had a strong self-image as a performer before signing with any company. Compromise, Sacrifice to be a singer and having it not work anyways...She has said she wasn't happy during that time cuz it wasn't the music she wanted to do. Think it might be that for Siyeon peace just doesn't include minx...
@@DoroboInu yes it's a special case because in any other country I think she would've just signed with a label as a (lead) singer for Rock band. Also for her maybe she saw this as her first and best opportunity at that time to make it somehow (and in the end it panned out), she really had this artistic vision.
But I actually also think (but this is pure speculation) that something must've gone down or Happyface was just really sorry for the failure bc the suggestion for DC came mainly from Siyeon I believe. Others said the CEO wanted to buy them a café if this wouldn't work out.
I'm actually just astounded by how close the bond between them and the company has to be. Also I saw some old Minx vlogs a few days ago for the first time and the chemistry between them is almost the same.
Sometimes I think these 7 people together with that company are destiny. There's no other way, the stars must've aligned at some magical moment😂🤔

It's easy to laugh and joke about it now because they're super successful. If DC had flopped or were struggling they would never acknowledge the MINX stuff.

@@ms-vr6bt It was. They've slowly come around on the Minx stuff, at least in semi-private stuff like Note videos (not sure they'd quite embrace it if it was on an actual show or something). Some of them had an easier time coming to terms with their past than others but seeing Sua lead the dancing and Dami joining in is continued progress for them. Siyeon is a different story but that's for her to decide.
I think it just makes fans happy to know that they're seemingly more OK with their past than treating it like Voldemort and never uttering the name.

This episode was hilarious due to the following:
1. Never in my life did I expect them to dance to Love Shake on their own accord!! That was a pleasant surprise! I replayed the section if it's really them.
2. Dami randomly calling out all the staffs' names, knowing that it would be censored. She's too mischievous sometimes 😂😂
3. Jiu being the cute Beasty idol that she is!
The first few minutes is all I needed to see. LOVE SHAKE and WHY DID YOU COME TO OUR HOUSE (MAISON) has come back!

Starting off with Love Shake and I knew this was something special 😂 Singji enacting more drama tropes and being super soft, Yoohyeon trying to do Dami's rap and then having an "in-depth discussion about goats" with Siyeon, JiU turning on beast mode. LMAO one of the best notes so far 🤣🤣🤣

It's definitely a touching moment when they sing Love Shake. Since they succeed, they can look back to their past story and say their effort gained finally. If not, it will always be a "thing" in the past.

To see the Idols we grew to love only after their “retirement” unite once again would truly be a dream come true! 🥰. To be honest, I’m really surprised that it was Dami that was playing Minx-sunbaenim’s music, and that she was having such a good time listening to it. Now, all we have to do is slowly convince Siyeon and maybe, just maybe… we could eventually see an OT5 performance! 🙏

Finally, proof that they don't have trauma over this song. Getting so tired of people not understanding that it's a joke *between them.* Minx was not the worst thing, them not gaining success was.
