Paris, France, is home to some of the best food in the entire world, and we wanted to see if the French cuisine lives up to its hype. We spent one full day running all around Paris, searching for traditional French dishes and street foods, and although some items did come at a hefty price, we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of everything we tried. THANK YOUR PARENTS ..... FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN FOR YOU
No oil in escargots. Just the snail, butter, garlic and parsley.
Just eat it that way, then you can put bread to finish the butter/garlic/parlsey sauce.
Omgggg I'm French and I've been living in Paris for a few years and I have never ever since those prices! 20 euros for a jambon beurre??? :o :o The most I have ever seen is like 8€ for top quality ham and cheese, otherwise it's under 5€ (same for crepes from street vendors, always under 5 euros). These tourist prices are crazyyyy! Apart from that, I loved the video and you looked super stylish Claire
Haha we got scammed, but we were too tired to care😂
We’ll keep our eyes out for another jambon beurre here in southern France.
Bonjour Chachouille !
@@ChadandClaire because of the vendor origin he can’t sell you pig ham, it’s haram that’s why it’s more pricey… 🤣
Sorry to see that you were charged that price BUT, it happened to you so it won't happen to us. :) Hard to be on top of every single thing. Take care. Can"t wait for more videos
Nothing better than French Baguette in the morning. Great video.
French Food Tour in Paris is delicious food and easy to buy.
FYI, escargot are cook in butter, not oil. ;), the best macaron is found in Montreal ( made by an europeen that move to montreal ). the best Tartare places will serve you the meat not prepare with all ingredient on the side so you can do your own mixte.
Wow love the video… awesome food tour you were amazing Claire. This takes me back to when I was there six years ago. It’s a beautiful city and I definitely enjoyed the food, architecture and everything else about Paris. Can’t wait to one day return and thank you for taking me along with you on your adventure ❤️🌍🇫🇷🥐🥖🐌
Love all your videos! Drawing a lot of inspiration for dishes to make from your food features 🙂
Wonderful! Loved it! I've been to Paris once and fell in love with it. Excited for my next visit. Thank you guys for sharing your experiences 😊💗💗💗
We Love your travel videos guys!
Wonderful tour! We’ll be in Paris in two weeks and you’ve inspired me to try all this yummy goodness! 😋
Great tour! Everything looked soooo good, the Crème Brûlée is my all time favourite dessert and it looked delicious. Good job again guys.
Hi guys, that was a great and exciting food tour. I would like to try those food someday . Take care and enjoy Paris😍
All the food looked delicious, hope to visit Paris soon too ☺️
Boeuf Bourguinon is not really hard to make. You just need to prep all your ingredients, brown the beef in batches, and let it all simmer for 2-3 hours in the oven.
Well now we are hungry!!! This all looks so delicious 🤤 🇫🇷
This is rousing my long dormant wanderlust. Thank you!
French food sounds and looks absolutely delicious! New friends here guys! We're from Australia currently doing a road trip in our RV in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. Great vlog!
Seeing Claire always makes me happy. Good stuff, guys.
All food looks very yummy 😋😋😋
Loved the video!
Haha, you guys are so cute! Loved this video~ gave me some ideas for the trip!
This was so sweet. I love Paris.
Thank you, thank you!
I loved the French food tour!!! Especially in the evening by the Eiffel tower. The photography was just beautiful.
Hi guys 😊 I really love your videos! I discovered your channel by watching your adventures in Spain as I recently spent a month there. As I'm French I agree with everyone in the comments about the jambon beurre sandwich. Usually you can get some good ones in any boulangerie for max 5€ 😉 as you go to the south of France you should definitely try some other dishes like "moules marinières" (which are mussels served with a special sauce and french fries) and "calissons" if you go to the city of Aix en Provence!
Enjoy your stay in France 😄
Really refreshing to see your beautiful smiling enthusiast faces and also that you seem to enjoy everything you taste or see. You are really the type of tourists that anyone would like in his country !
It always bring a smile on my face each time I watch your vlogs! U guys are breathe of fresh air!
Yay!! Now go out and share your smile with the world😁🚀🎉⚡️
You have a new subscriber here. From a guy who has eaten my way through France your passion is very inspiring. The innocence of escargot is so nice 😚🥹🥹🥹
Great video!!! Y'all did a great job at making us HUNGRY!!! Claire- you SHINE with the food tours- the knowledge and description is 100%
Chad here!
I totally agree! She’s SO amazing at the food tours!
Are you serious? She clearly knows next to nothing about food and on top of that they got scammed multiple times. 🤦♂️
Doing research for an upcoming trip and stumbled upon this video/channel. How cute are these two?1 Thanks for the food tour.
Amazing
When in 18,6 full days and stayed super busy, loved it.Was. able to see noterdame
Bravo et merci !
very enjoyable food tour... definitely lots of cheap eats in Paris if you venture away from the famous spots.. croissants are the best and i can and have eaten that every day for breakfast.
thank you !
You two are the perfect couple. Thank you for sharing your journeys with such positivity and enthusiasm!
Thanks for watching our schnanigans! 😂
Thanks for that informative video
I hope you’re being sarcastic- half the information in it was wrong and they got scammed multiple times. Look elsewhere for people who are knowledgeable on Paris, not a couple of people who’ve spent three days of there life there in total
Love it 😍
❤❤❤ Love the videos
awesome!
I love watching this it gives me imagination and feeling that I was also in France which increases my appetite even though i ate spam and eggs
Oh you’re in France, love their traditional baguette 🥖 😋merci pour la visite 😊
lovely video. thank you, new subscriber by the way 🥰
Well I am always surprised by that it sunset so late in paris during the summer. Nice video to you both. I hope you always continued safe travels.
It's because most of European countries are on the same time zone (CET) and France is in the west side. It's even worse in Spain.
Fantastic! 👍
Chad and Claire hi my name is chris and i live in Greece recently i found your channel and as i see its so amazing and that vibes you are transfer are so lovely. Keep up that amazing journey and cant wait to see more and more videos. Love from Greece
Hi Chris!! 🙋♂️🙋♀️
Happy you found us and have been enjoying the video we produce!! Thank you so much for the kind words! We’ll certainly keep the videos coming your way😁👍

Nice Couple.. WELL DONE!!
wonderful
you guys are glowing
U r great guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 keep enjoying life! Last month I visited Paris and it was one of the most outstanding experiences ever had. Regards from Montevideo, Uruguay 🇺🇾
I would love to go to Uruguay one day my mum is from Montevideo only went once when I was little
great video makes me want to go
@10:47 Hahaha 'The best of the best!' Loved this part.
The best of the best! 😂
We laughed a lot at that part as well!
Whoa! This video on Paris, France should make the “Best Top 10 Travel Videos”. I had thought that I had seen the best food in the Turkey and Greek videos, but the food that you reviewed in the Paris video had me drooling. Chad, your skills in photography and videography were clearly on display in this video of Paris, France. Claire’s description of the French delicacies was exquisite! The video on Paris, France was great!
Thanks Bodvar!!
Are you serious? They didn’t go to good places, they can’t describe the food properly, and on top of it they got scammed.
I'm so spoiled after eating croissants in France. Nothing is compared after that. I also tried French onion soup for the first time during my last visit there. A friend kept recommending but I had no idea what to expect. Really surprised that there was cheese in it. Great quality content, by the way!
Delightful
Boeuf Bouguignon is actually really easy to make ! and you don't even need the best ingredients, just time and love ;)
Hi guys. As a French person I find your video very interesting. 1,60 euros the baguette! 20 euros for a sandwich! It's written "tourists" on your forehead 😁. Otherwise a real ham and butter is made with white ham. It's a Parisian product and you can still find very good ones at a reasonable price. The restaurant looked delicious, the bakery too. But if you want real good crepes, you have to go to Brittany and not elsewhere. In Paris, it will be near the Montparnasse train station only.
Have a nice trip 😀

Great place to be 😊
Chad and Claire,👨👩🦱🌹 Love your channel!💖 Food like great exception of the Steak tartare! Stay safe and Enjoy Paris!🗼 Cheers 🥖🥖🧔
Miam miam! Boulangerie and patisserie are a funny experience and not expensive. The next step can be french chesses with breads.
Fabulous share and channel friends all the best see you again cheers
Nobody puts oil in snails... :D That's butter, garlic, shallots and some parsley.
The traditional Parisian Jambon/Beurre is not with cured ham but "jambon blanc' (white ham) instead with French crunchy pickles in half a baguette. It's usually ten times less expensive, so I hope it was exceptional.
I love French so Beautiful country
Hey guys, just recently discovered your channel, super nice, really enjoyable to watch.
I grew up in Paris and i just wanted to mention, that there is a law on baguettes in France.
No additives or preservatives are allowed in the dough, hence why the bread is sold daily and we buy the bread generally, in the mornings.
The baguette also needs to be made at the boulangerie, it is sold in, so just a fun fact.
Fun video.
J'adore l'escargot !
Awesome video! If you are still in France, please go to Les Grandes buffet in Narbonne 🙂
Hmmm 20euros was pretty expensive for a sandwich in Paris. We were eating bigger for 8-9 euros, even in Montmartre. I love the food in Paris, I visit the city mostly for the food!!
lookin so pretty Claire!! (as you usually do) love the shirt!!
Very nice video. People in France buy their baguette everyday as they like it fresh and crunchy. The second day, it is not crunchy anymore. I hope you have a great stay in France !
I thought that too. In fact, I know people who buy bread twice a day!
I don’t normally subscribe people on youtube, but after watching this clip, I hit the button right away XD. I love the vibes when you guys travel together, and you might be surprised to hear this that I feel super relaxed watching your clip.
Enjoy your upcoming trips! And if you have a chance coming to Thailand and need some advice on some good local restaurants, feel free to let me know. Cheers from someone who has just secretly become your secret fan. 😆
Good to see that you got te real deal. When we were in Paris we made the mistake of eating in a tourist filled street. It was boiled rather than cooked in an oven. Funny thing that night on the news was an item that French authorities were trying to stamp out restaurants presenting boil- the- bag as boeuf bourgignon.
Btw the jambon beurre is not with this kind of ham. You have been fooled hehe but it s okah it happens
Yummy!
The lunch restaurant is really expansive. 24€ for a "Bourguignon" normally it's around 18€ and 20€ for "tartare" between 12€-15€.
Wow €20 for a sandwich, I think you can buy all the ingredients and make your own! Love Paris. We also like to listen to some of Rick Steve's walking tours on his app while we walk around European cities.
Very nice video
Crema Catalana is from Catalonia in Spain that s why its name, always following your videos, thanks for sharing your experiences.
Well, I've been living in France for 5 years. And the prices of the food in the areas you've been to were crazy for a penny pincher like me 🤣 . So whenever I do a food trip to Paris, I would go to restaurants in Quartier Saint Michel (where Notre Dame de Paris is) since the prices there are cheaper and the quality of food is not that bad.
The bread is so good here, I acquired the habit of kissing it before, during or after eating it. I am literally kissing the bread.
All the classics - YUM!!!! I hope you try an almond croissant before you leave France! They are my favorite!!! Safe travels!
Ooooooh! Okay! We’ll have to try one!
sound like good
Creme broule is actually crema catalana, from Catalonia, Spain. Not from Madrid. My great grandmother used to cook it on saturdays. Its an absolut tradition in my country.
God, Australian master chef is teaching people how to describe their food. They say exactly same thing on the tv show. You guys make French think AUSTRALIA have a lot of big love.😊
in Ireland during the summer it's the same doesn't get dark until about 10.
Always enjoy the excitement and energy in your videos. Based on the title, I came prepared with some Dutch Chocolate Cake from the Cheesecake Factory to eat along with that yummy French food.
Hahahaha we are SO glad you came prepared! Man Dutch Chocolate Cake from the Cheesecake Factory!! Now you’re making us HUNGRY!
The Cheesecake Factory is an abomination. Sorry that you actually like their food because it’s a clear sign you have never had the opportunity to eat decently.
Sorry to hear that you people think the Cheesecake Factory is good. Proves yourknow nothing about food
@@LeMagnifiqueDoubleAgent-cj4zo Your absolutely correct. Ignorance is bliss!
@@georgemckinnon7134, Is it bliss? In French the translation is I think tacky, but maybe I don’t know the word properly.
J'habite Paris et j'adore vos vidéos. Merci de mettre une traduction en français en dessous 😉
Chad and Claire, you did a great job with this video! Would you consider doing another video like this but vegan themed? Thanks? Keep up the great work! 😊😊

Nice video 👍 📹
Claire is gorgeous.
You are lovely couple and your video is happy one. From a French guy.
Highly intelligent and possibly from very well-to-do families--yet very unpretentious, genuine, calm, and affable personalities. Rare qualities on CZcams, Keep it up! 👍
These two, from “well-to-do families”, hardly. I don’t know how you get that impression because they seem like simpleton, first time travelers that get scammed easily.
@@LeMagnifiqueDoubleAgent how sad you are.
@@bureaucrazy1234, I’m just pointing out the obvious because it is not reasonable to conclude that they are either “highly intelligent” or “from very well-to-do families”. Firstly, if they were from money, I find it hard to believe that they had never been to Paris, they never ate beef tartare, they would drink cheap wine, etc. Secondly, if they were intelligent, they would not have been scammed multiple times. Therefore, your conclusion seems to be implausible. It is not “sad”.
@Le Magnifique Double Agent ok. let's apply your own argument to your case: your responses are clearly presumptuous and grossly judgemental. imo these traits are characteristic of grossly insecure and frustrated people hellbent on being validated by posting pseudointellectual and always snide comments on social media. trust me, that's how you come across to normal people reading your desperate comments. also, you will prove us right by the pompus deridong manner you will respond to this comment. prove us wrong.
A jambon beurre is supposed to cost 3.50€ in Paris, about 3.00€ in the regions.
Here in spain also buy the bread everyday.
Omg I’m definitely putting a picnic by the Eiffel Tower on my bucket list 😍
That’s because you’re as basic as these two.
20th the ham with butter,
