High quality Airsoft level gel blasters exist at least here in australia, we recently had a big drop of gbbrs that function almost exactly like a real one On top of that speaking from experience gel blasters can hurt bad maybe never break skin due to them mostly being water but can definitely leave marks that'll stay for a few hours to maybe a day
@@hayuchan9641 I just did a quick google search of Philippines gel blasters and had a few sites pop up selling a variety of blasters like what you see on this channel, and the more realistic looking ones as well Please check your local laws regarding the purchase of gel blasters first if you can, would hate for you to purchase one receive it and then get hit with a firearms charge.
Yeah I guess they can be powerful, but airsoft most definitely is more painful compared to gel blasters, just basically because it's a .25g plastic bb shooting at around 350-400 fps instead of a jell ball, shooting at around the same speed (in high quality blasters), however since they usually pop on impact, and are mainly water, I would say airsoft is better for people who play the sport competitively instead of casually at your mates house. Yknow?
@@notsogoodpro356 airsoft > gelsoft every day of the week, sadly I can't get airsoft since they're illegal if they were legal I'd drop gelsoft in a heartbeat
@@bakedbread5611no, not really, i can get really realistic nerf guns and airsoft guns, or i can get barely realistic nerf guns or airsoft guns, gell blasters just kinda exist for no real reason
In my opinion, nerf guns are better since i want something that doesn't hurt too much but still hit with power and doesn't need to buy New ammo every time i want to shoot.
Gel is fun for the backyard stuff (at least with the Amazon stuff. I’m excluding the Australian guns cause those are serious) but Airsoft is for the more immersive feel and realistic gameplay
Airsoft only breaks skin at point blank and the only gear that is really necessary is a mask to protect your face the rest is just for your own comfort or aesthetic.
Also in Australia, airsoft guns are banned there so some airsoft manufacturers turned there airsoft guns into gel blasters since due to a legal loophole, gel blasters are considered water guns there i think and because of this gel blasters in Australia are more realsitic there and are basically like airsoft guns there
where i live in qld australia you need a gun license to own a air rifle or airsoft gun and gel blasters are fully allowed without a gun license so there better
Realistic wise it really depends on which gell blaster you get, like I have a Mac 10 and at first glance you can’t rlly tell if it’s a real gun or not.
That's the right approach. Everyone likes something different. I personally prefer Airsoft because it's more realistic and I think it's more fun, but I accept if you prefer gelblasters and I'm not going to convince you that airsoft is better
Fact: they are exactly the same, just taking different ammo… and different designs or some have different power sources but other than that, basically the same thing.
I love airsoft and think it is better. Better accuracy and range and hurts more. Another good thing about airsoft is that you can still play it when your older because airsoft is directed toward an older audience.
"gelblasters aren't as realistic as airsoft" *looks at my mk8,mp5,apr,ar15* airsoft for people who want the feeling of being in battle gelblasters that are better less painful version of airsoft

Yea In The Philipines we have realistic gel blasters
You do actually make a fair point, if u ever want to start of with airsoft, start with gel blasters and work your way up

“Realistic"💀
Definitely get some good eye protection, like goggles. Gel blaster bbs(?) can take out an eye
The cheap glasses that come with most gel blasters are pretty durable
Yeah just glasses but when in airsoft is so many
That’s a complete lie. A gel blaster can HARDLY leave a mark. Try getting shot with a rifle 1300 rpm with 400 fps 😅.
@EmilMujanovic they hurt to the eyes. They couldn't take out an eye but they will leave you blind for a few days. Get eye pro
Whatever mate it's your opinion ok.
Gel falls into a weird niche between nerf and airsoft. Anything that gel can do can be done in either airsoft or nerf or both.
It's the best of both worlds.

You can’t play at an air-soft field with gel blaster
@EmilMujanovic you can't play at an airsoft field with nerf or real guns either
I know how to fix the filling problem with the unlimited gel blaster ammo. Basically all you need is a 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup I think it might help.
Here in Australia, gel blasters are airsoft ( gel is now only legal in one state ) All gel blasters were built well and realistic.
Gelsoft isn’t better, neither is airsoft, I prefer a good old 9mm
The shop near me sells very realistic gel blasters for a good price aswell

Gel blasters is that one bad looking friend you have that your mother trusts
Gel blasters can actually wound you depending of the fps
Airsoft requires maturity.
I feel like gel blasters to though those things do hurt quite a bit
Gel blaster- neighborhood summer shootout
Airsoft- professional sport
Airsoft is definitely not professional
Gel blasters do hurt, and if you disagree ask BlowBackIndustries
idk, man. i have a 160 buck gel blaster, paired with the super hard gel balls can break skin 10+ feet away. and thats just stock.
As an Airsofter, well said man
It’s mostly depends what type of gel blaster like electric or the other kind of gel blaster
Gel blasters in Australia is practically airsoft.
It’s really just what your doing that matters for which suits you better because they both have different pros and cons but are pretty similar
Airsoft only breaks skin at point blank and the only gear that is really necessary is a mask to protect your face the rest is just for your own comfort or aesthetic.
The pain of boing shot in the balls by a air soft gun is way better than not felling the hit

Gel blasters are legal everywhere and cheaper, also, there are many gel blasters which are replicas of real life guns
only downside for me for gel blasters and air soft guns is that it is hard to re use you bullets
Bro have over 150 languages to speak but he decided to speak facts

gel blasters are actually more expensive if you want realistic looking ones
I like both. They’re both fun!
Paintball, airsoft, and whatever gel blasters are a part of are all the same exept for the bullets dont hurt as much and how realistic they guns look
The most considerate gel blaster user I’ve seen
"they arent that expensive" Pulls out a 120 dollar mp5 that is made OUT OF PLASTIC!
I have an adult gel blaster that looks super realistic and it hurts almost as bad.
Are you sure about that? 'pulls out M4A1 Realistic and shark skin on the gun
Tbh "nerf guns" as in foam blasters made by nerf are shit, but anyone who's used a dart zone pro blaster can testify that they are extremely fun
You’ve just got the kids gel blasters bro I’ve got a full metal Ak47u and it looks so sick
Bro really compared stupid gel to dope nerf gun
The one in the title picture I have that exact same one😂
With gel blasters you can kinda have like a gel blaster fight but with airsoft you would have walked out of it entirely bruised.
Not if you’re wearing the right damn clothing, it’s the dudes that walk in with tank tops and shorts that get it the worst
In order of power
Water gun>Nerf>Gel blaster>Airsoft>Metal bb>Firearm>RPG

do agree that airsoft looks better and more realistic. BUT some airsoft are banned in many countries.
In australia, the realism with gel blasters is literally equivalent to airsoft

Airsoft better team 👇
Atleast im not paying 100 dollars for a “budget friendly gun”

As a person who plays airsoft in just a hoodie and a mask I can confirm I need no gear
Also gel blasters are available at more places rather then airsofts being available at less places
“Gel blasters cant break the skin”
