- Hey! I've been on a journey to farm as many primogems and I thought I would make a guide for you guys.
Also, I did not realize that some of the background music was too loud until after I uploaded. While not the perfect fix, I did upload my script and edited the subtitles for accuracy. Sorry about that!

@@Pbayisthegoat kinda wasnt, but i committed to getting nilou her weapon. The "surely next pull i get it" kept me going because i lost the 50 on both nahida and nilou right before it spending all my 305 saved up pulls on them(i got nahidas weapon twice)

It's worth noting that when you complete all endings of a hangout quest you get achievements, so it's actually 85 primogems per hangout (assuming you don't do the hidden hangout achievements).

@@atinychimken All hangouts have one achievement that is NOT hidden, being for completing all endings. All hangouts also have a hidden achievement for completing one specific ending, as well as one hidden achievement for unique tasks tied to events in the hangout quest.

I'm new n check all the yt video but nothing explains what we should do in early games like artifact weapon their use for the first time ..all they explanation is they are already max ch 😂😂
For exploration, if you have friends who play too thats always a good option!
Too bad they don't add more actual Co-op content.
Good tip for (SOME) people:
If you're collecting chests, remember that depending on the region you're in, you'll also get additional primogems with each chest you open in that region, i.e, Liyue gives out 0 primogems if opened, but Sumeru does!
If you're a completionist like me and love getting everything and seeing that sweet 100% on a map, then I recommend tracking each chest with Hoyolab or Interactive Map so as to not lose your progress.

Edit: For the second tip, I'd recommend waiting a good month or so until Hoyolab gets all the chests marked on their own lab (silly, I know), and not opening certain chests.
Try the Genshin interactive map! They're a lot faster with marking! :D

what do you exactly mean by the region chests?
Heads up that hoyo's interactive map can be pretty innacurate at times because all the pins are submitted by players and with so many chests there are bound to be mistakes.
Once you get through your "backlog" (exploration and quests from old areas), the sustained income is 8-10k primogems per month. That includes newly added areas, new quests, events, dailies, events, spiral abyss, special program and update codes, web events, daily login etc - everything that repeats at least semi-regularly. There's no way to get more as F2P. 10k primos converts to some 60 fates so you can expect to have about one 5-star every patch, out of which about one in every three will be a lost 50:50.
So if you're in the process of milking your world for these easy primos, there's a bunch of them but they will run out. Be prepared.
If you consider paying for the game and play every day at least a little, always go for Welkin first, then for Battlepass. Both are by far the best value for your money, plus they won't even let you spend too much.
This! The Welkin is great deal, especially low spenders, once you have gotten through the permanent primogems already in Teyvat.
I actually did the math, and using only 420 primogems per event, which occur biweekly, your incremental income is actually just 6010 primogems per month. The math is as follows:
1. All dailies: 30 * 60 = 1800
2. Two events: 2 * 420 = 840
3. 36 star the abyss: 2 * 600 = 1200
4. web login and web event: 2 * 60 = 120
5. Apologems: (livestream 300 + update 300) * 3/4 = 450
6. Paimon bargain: 10 fates * 160 = 1600
Each sub-version occurs in 40 days, hence why it needed to be multiplied by 3/4 for a 30 day period.
1800 + 840 + 1200 + 120 + 450 + 1600 = 6010 primogems per month.
You normally hit much higher because
1) every other event gives nearly 900 primogems
2) Each region actually gives a lot of primogems from opening chests
3) Achievements actually add up quite a bit per region
4) Mihoyo often does arbitrarily give people primogems.
@@jyashintbh calculating primo per month is kinda weird, primo per patch seems more realistic bcz theres limited events and stuff that maybe happends in first month but not in the second or the other way around

Im f2p, and when i started pulling, i won like up to 6 50/50's in a row, how, idk, but now my luck is lower (tho i won 50/50 on Furina). I most of the time skip characters i dont care about and will set myself Goals of characters i do want, and if i lose, i will just pull on Rerun

Just found this today and thanks for this info. This was very well thought out. I know that exact pain of getting through Sumeru too lol having had to backtrack through the quests that were suuuuper long, but it was worth to get the primos over all. I'm personally a light spender when it comes to actually getting characters, but even getting some more freemogems here and there alleviate the problem of having to worry about something like money. Keep up the good work!

im ar45 and avoiding ascension not bc its hard but bc i need to lvl my characters and i wanna get to a more comfortable place on my account before proceeding lmaoo. in 5 days ive gone from 784 primos to roughly 2000 just from exploration and events and such!! 100% recommend any of these methods bc theyve worked for me in the past
OMG SAME, i dont wanna make things like rlly hard for me just because i can, i wanna comfortably be able to go through and complete/buff characters before touching any higher leveled challenges. i like it easy
Take your time! Its cool to see people upgrade their stuff before proceding, i wish i had build some of my characters but im way too lazy to do it right now LMAO
I ascended asap, no point missing out on better/more items. If you cant beat bosses (other than wolf since he is on world map) just pick the previous difficulty at the cost of losing out on more weekly materials.
You can always put your world lvl down after you do ascend ~ It's only 1 lvl down, but it can help you get the rewards while still having an easier time in your world :D

Hi! I really appreciate the video but it can be a little hard to hear and understand what your saying sometimes when the music has lyrics and high beats. I would suggest a slight change in background music but ofcourse its totally up to you!. Otherwise, thank you for the tips and I can't wait to use them to farm primogems.

Use the interactive map! I started using it in inazuma to find the oculi. Then I used it in Sumeru for puzzles and oculi. Now I use it for chests, puzzles, oculi and all exploration related thing. Literally a godsend!!!!! Exploration has never ever been so easy

ok i needed encouragement to farm primos for furina so HERE I AM FULLY MOTIVATED!! i do not really explore (my explore rate for desert is like 4%-) or care for teapot but i will do all of these to get furina before the banner ends! it will be a painful road but it will worth it i hope...
Running around the Sumeru desert should be considered a form of torture, there is so much empty space between waypoints

So I got really bored and decided to tally how many resources I could expect from an anniversary patch. I'm skeptical of the genshin Fandom wiki website and most of the youtubers estimating primogems, so that's also why I did this.
Every time I received primogems or opened a chest I recorded it, and here are my findings:
600 - Version mail maintenance
80 - Test run
970 + 2 fates - Quest rewards (Archon, Story, World etc)
1305 - Chests (Overworld, Seelie, Challenges, Domain and Hidden)

I'm missing the very last 30 credit coupons, so I'm missing a bit of primogems and a couple achievements.
EDIT: I also didn't include the daily check-in, so that's another 60 gems
Ive explored my whole world, every five steps i take i trigger the treasure compass in hope i can find some scraps… nothing… all i can do now is catch 2000 fish, and pray i can get those daily comms that give achievements😭😭
Me in Sumeru 😩 most everything is already looted so the interactive map would only taunt me further
and then there's those 5 hidden chest in XYZ area that you'll never find even when consulting online maps and guides, the pain...

Personally, I'm waiting for a Nilou rerun since I lost on her first rerun and skipped her when she first dropped for Nahida. I'm hoping to get multiple copies of her and just one of her weapon. I only just started saving this patch after I got Wriothesley and stopped at 18 pity after that. Even as a P2W, I still need to scrounge up as much as I can before she comes around again, so thank you again for the guide!!

I missed out on Nahida and have been saving for her rerun, although Furina is making me rethink my decision. Hopefully I can wish for Furina and then save up again for whenever Nahida returns.

@3:55 been playing genshin on the ps4 since its release and i didn't know about the 20 gems per character for interacting with there favourite set in the tea pot. Thanks for that. Especially considering im 68 wishes in on furinas banner on the guarantee pull track.
Time to unlock burgeon Dehyas final form. (incase anyone asks, its EM sands, Pyro goblet and crit circlet with the vourukasha glow set and EM/cit/hp/energy substats in that order of priority. Burgeon dehya isn't 100% burgeon damage, its a mix or pyro and burgeon and furina enables this playstyle massively.

For me if I actually want to resist spending my primogems, I just think of a character I really like and how much I like them, then I search up showcases with that character and only that character which makes me really motivated to get them! I am saving for Kazuha and have 20 wishes over the past week of saving.

Well, I am waiting for the Raiden banner, since I missed out last time due to having no fates farmed. The guide was quite helpful, though I still find the farming pretty slow except for the chest opening, but you need a compass (or a map) to do it properly, and getting the compass is quite an ordeal with all these quests that need to be completed. Also Requests dont reward much Rep EXP and I am not strong enough for Bounties (while being AR 55, fml). Spiral Abyss is obviously off-limits for me.Thanks for the guide, refreshing the memory is always good.
Thank you for the vid! I had a genshin account that I ruined because of my laziness, it is probably fixable but the motivation isn't there and it was overwhelming and I slowly lost the drive to play the game so I took a new chance and started from 0. Yes it will be difficult and I will certainly miss all the 5 stars that I got on my other account but I believe that it serves me as experience. I don't mind to much either, I've got friends who are willing to help me as well.

Realy, dont underestimate the exloration. I started this weekend in Sumeru, already have won 25 wishes in primos + wishes fron the onion sumeru tree, and only with 4 regions at 100 percent.
And i hope to safe primos for all the 4.3 version, so hopefully i will have enogh for c0 Nahihi and maybe Alhaitham.

I grinded like crazy For few days and completed all world quest , archon quest latest , achievement , hangout and 100 % exploration in sumeru and fontaine and got 150 pulls and i guess it was worth as i can go for furina guarrented if luck on my side i hope to get furina and her weapon.

I fired up genshin today after a while and where did it bring me, straigt back to the starvation of pulls
I got the character I wanted most, Baizhu beloved, so I'm currently working to build up my character list since I'm pretty new to the game. I'm a firm believer that any character can be good if you build them well, and while I don't know a lot about building characters I have some trusty resources to help me with that, so I'm happy to get anyone
I am new to game but idk anything about building characters or getting characters and I cannot kill anyone since I leveled up 😭😭 help

I just discovered the teapot set primos myself and it was great because I love the teapot so I already had all the furniture I needed to do all of them I got so many pulls from that
Remember that one quest in the mountains? Never finished that and the land it's still not visible on my map
that one xiao main is a savior i have no idea how many times they've saved me (WoW quests)

I have an extra strat that I personally use as well! I don't spend like a large amount of my days playing Genshin and a lot of the time I won't touch the game in like over a month! Genshin has a 2 week long "event" for players who haven't played the game for a certain amount of time [I think its like a month or more] and If I'm remembering right it gives you a free 10 pull through a week of check in rewards as well as tasks to complete that give you things like level books and weapon crystals and mora and I think artifacts too [and I thiiiink a random weapon billet but I could be wrong on that front]. It also gives you layline overflow opportunity I think. basically the whole thing is meant to give players a chance to recoup/refresh on the game if they haven't played for a while and its a pretty good way to get some extra primos/wishes if Genshin is something you only touch every once and while/don't always have time to play daily :]

Just got Furina and now I have to start saving again! I’m still so happy, she was my first won 50/50 after 2 YEARS of never winning. I started playing in 1.6 and I finally won.
