Thank God not just a bunch of fox bodies! Loving the variety of cars
East Coast/Midwest, Fox's are plentyful, somehow not completely full of rust, and are relatively cheap. Parts support is still plentiful.. They also have decent tunable suspension. Granted, they're climbing due to popularity. Sorta the same story with S10s. But I 100% agree, more variety the better.
@@samsungskater Let’s be honest too, besides the fact that they track well and are lightweight one of the other main reasons we build so many Foxbody cars with Chevy power under the hood is because it’s affordable. People building cars with no budget tend to pick other chassis that they like while people with more limited funds go the LS/Fox route. Not saying it’s a bad thing at all; I know I always used to get a healthy chuckle out of blowing past a guy with a 35k Morgan & Son big block under the hood of his tube chassis radial racer while piloting my clapped out 90 Notchback with SBE LS power and mail order off the shelf suspension bits lol. The street is one hell of an equalizer!

GREAT races! And a true show of sportsmanship there if I followed that correctly (I think I knew what was going on there). That dude in the f-body had a great set-up (& great man boob's, chestikle's...hahaha). I liked the re-buyin, except for the cats that already beat the first round cars and lost but couldn't re-buyin to round 3...tough-luck.

Dude in Blue/white Nova should have got the L. At 1:29:47 He reaches up and cut the car off after burnouts getting ready to stage. Then claiming his batts need charged which he evidently forgot to do between rounds. His buddy in the yellow Supra screwed himself. But he was happy with it so all is good.
The red truck that raced at 48:08, tried to shed some weight by eliminating the hood because the race was so close. It was a smart strategy. It didn't work but he gets an A for effort. LOL

street race,eh?i guess the money runs out somewhere as in the twig that broke the camel s back.i ve raced my share of street races during 15 years and i always made sure i have fuel and electricity(and compression hehe).i have seen videos of engines in dyno and whilst a mechanical fan draws quite a lot hp (over 30 hp in that test), a generator draw is a lot less.you can actually calculate it as 1 hp is 1376 watts of power.so,you can charge a hell of a lot with 1 hp draw from crank.i also ran a msd 7 al 2 which worked optimally at 14.5 volts according to manufacturer.
Alot of nicely put together car's, only thing, to me is they look like some big small tires, i have 29s on my car and they don't look that big
