INTENSE Racing w/ Krikke Motorsport at Perth Motorplex

- We tagged along with Dayne Kingshott and the Krikke Motorsport team as they attacked Perth Motorplex's 2022 Gold Cup.
For over 40 years Krikke Motorsport has been one of Australian Sprint Car racing's most successful teams, enjoying multiple Australian Sprintcar Championship wins, World Series Sprintcar titles and much more.
The benchmark-setting team have hosted Australian drivers such as Dayne Kingshott, Kerry Madsen, Jamie Veal, James McFadden, Brooke Tatnell, Robbie Farr, Skip Jackson and more.
The team has also fielded cars for American drivers Donny Schatz, Tim Kaeding, along with others.
The 2021/2022 season marks Dayne Kingshott's 2nd full season with the team. Kingshott is formerly a successful midget/speedcar driver, most notably winning the 2019 Australian Speedcar Championship.

Great that your getting to different venues, love to see a video now with Lynton Jeffrey on the effects of wing speed on racing at different venues.
Such as Brisbane vs Perth.

Learning about wings a different tracks, flat wings and the differences to dish wings would be really interesting

For sure the facility is #1 in Aus. But that is only 1 factor. In saying that, the place is pretty perfect!

Once again a great video. Its the first time i have seen the track and was very impressed with the speed the cars are going. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these shows for us.
Ahh, Perth Motorplex... The Pleasure Dome. And, one extremely unique feature of the Motorplex, spectators can access the pits throughout the racing.
I noticed that. A really relaxed and welcoming vibe in the pits with kids able to enjoy it.
from the old days of claremont track when the pit was a dog box.The plex is where the fans can get close to the cars & drives

You should do a video at bunbury speedway it a really fast track I recommend it highly
Man, the Aussie tracks are just so much prettier then the tracks we have in the US.
I think the USA and Aus both have great tracks/facilities, just like they both have places that fans/teams would like to see improvements on. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@SprintCarHub oh no doubt there are great facilities in the US. I have been to several when we were running our midget. But The ones in Australia are pretty. They are manicured and almost park like. Eldora is an amazing place, but the one in this video makes it look like a trailer park. Ha.

Cool video definitely. I could be wrong but seems there is definitely a fair bit of pressure that goes with a high profile ride like that...
I’d say there is expectation to do well but being there I felt it was a really good culture around the team.
Ryan understands that Matt and Dayne haven’t come to KMS with years of success in Sprint Car racing and is willing to give it time to turn into something bigger.
Oh that's cool. I kinda got the feeling Ryan was kinda pissed that Dayne "only got 4th" and even Matt seemed a touch annoyed but obviously I misinterpreted it 😀
