I'm very experienced in GDPR. I worked for a large financial organisation dealing with GDPR and data protection. Although it wasn't my main duty, it was a core element.
Every six months I was retested as GDPR is subject to change without parliamentary input as it is a regulation and not a law.
I can say with total honesty, this woman is a cretin.
I was thinking more of a buffoon than a cretin but somewhere on that side of stupid meets the description adequately

Oh my word. This company obviously pays scant regard to GDPR because the person they have employed to be the UK head of GDPR knows literally nothing about it. A person less skilled in communication and human skills would be hard to find.

This is a perfect example of when firms employ woman just to get some boxes ticked - no idea what she's doing but at least they can say they employ a woman in that position. You have to feel sorry for the other employees who have to take up the slack for her.
I own an company in IT. To make sure I would comply with the law I learned about GDPR to ensure I wasn't going to have issues. It's really not hard to understand.

She should feature in videos about how not to handle a situation, I used to use and show videos to new staff at one of the biggest organisations in the UK and this ladies attitude was in all the “how not to do” section.

It proves that some people believe, if you spout lies with confidence, other people are more likely to believe them than not. So many of the Auditors have almost unfathomable accents??? or speaking disabilities? WHY? is auditing what you do if you have trouble speaking? I don't expect a plum in your mouth, just an effort at pronunciation or losing your accent a little. (I holidayed every year in Trecco Bay as a child so i do know what a Welsh accent is).
