    I coached a 7th/8th grade flag 5 X 5 team this spring and this play was deadly. We probably had 25 passing touchdowns this season on this play alone it. The 2/3 receiver were our main options. One player had 4 touchdowns in one game on this play. It's also great if the opposing team has a fast blitzer. The 1 and Center options can be safety valves but the QB should be able to hit the 2/3 on the blitz for nice gains. We also had a "spread" crossover play where we ran pretty much the same routes just more spread out. You can even have the 2 and the 3 reverse their routes. Very cool play

    if you think about it. if you remove the need for equipment technically American style football is the sport easiest to set up as you only need a ball and then just run to some part of the field. compare to European style football you need a makeshift goal.
