Well I’m in the market for a multi effects unit, that is better than previous units I’ve owned. I would like the helix but find it hard to justify the price. I’m a single parent who works two jobs lol. So I need some honest advice. I’m not a pro player but I’m no slouch either and know music. This sounds great, looks great but there’s no way I can try one out in person where I live. So if I was going to invest in this, I really need to make it count. How much better is this from say a zoom G5n or a boss unit if similar era, how far away is it from a helix, and how would it stand against a similar price range amplifire unit? Honesty is much appreciated. I really respect that someone from valeton comments here on a regular basis :)

Is there a possibility to add in the upgrade stoner amps like Sunn Model T, Orange OR-120 or Matamp Green? There is no other modeler with these amps because they need to be pretty loud to recreate this sound. Hoever, with GP-200 DAC and ADC and XLR outs it would sound goog because of the dynamic range it provides.

Well, tone is subjective and we don't know what comments are you pointing out. In any case the improvement of the firmware is constant like in all our products.
I have the same issue now. I'm about to buy a new pedal, and this Valeton seems to be a great option, but I'm still not completely sure of buying it because of the same reasons as yours
The delays and reverbs on the GP 100 were very bad. There was an underlying slightly modulated wash to all of them. The quality just wasn't there. I sold the unit. Unless Nux have redone the verb and delay algorithms then you will be inheriting the weaknesses of the GP 100.

One of the few MFX that has XLR outputs. Can't understand why Boss, L6 etc don't have them. I'm a Zoom user (G1 & G3) having tried almost everything else. The others just dont sound good live despite exhaustive tweaking.This is the only other brand I may consider.
Hello everyone, I have a question to my friends who use Valeton gp-200. I can't get a decent sound on stage. I have an electric guitar, I go directly to my Valeton gp-200 mixer, I can't get the sounds correctly. When I use it on my earphone 🎧 the sounds are impeccable.. But on stage unfortunately I am disappointed.. If you to help me please, How should I make my settings 🎛 For the Global setting: How much should I set the level? Input Level: ? No CAB Model L/R must be safe: ON or OFF: ? And for Global EQ: what level? Thank you cordially musically for helping me.. 🎶 💐
@@greymr4038 Two reasons, i suffer from tinitus in my left ear, any distorted sounds sets it off and drives me nuts for days. The second and the reason for having tinitus is that my trade was an Hi-Fi tech, and was trained to look for a fault if the sound was distorted. In a busy workshop, the only way to find the faults was to use headphones over the years this damaged my hearing. Clean sounds at a sensible volume are fine, but loud distorted notes are unbearable.😒
@@greymr4038 When you are young you never think about how harmfull some activities are to your body until you reach your 50's and the damage is with you for the rest of your life. Today health and safety rules are there to reduce the risks, but back in the 70's / 80's no one cared about any hearing loss.😥
@@Barbarapape yes…I feel you I’m 30(damaged lower back a few years ago, now I always have pains and can’t lift heavy stuff(in the childhood I heard phrase “never lift heavy stuff you will get hernia,well I’m a living example 😄 and very conscious about my health I recently saw “the sound of metal” when drummer lost his hearing completely (that looked horrible and life changing )
Can you set up the footswitch controls to switch between Patch and Stomp modes, using a footswitch combination? Seems like I would want to use these modes interchangeably but do not want to have to bend down and go through the global settings to switch modes.

Cool pedal but from demo I'm not sold on the distortion sounds. They seem thin and fizzy, best I can explain. Kinda reminds of an old mid 90's zoom pedal I had, distortion was not good on it.
There are Global eq and output such as guitar/line output..U try first infront of amp using either guitar or line output..From there u will know which is best distortion sound for u..individual preferences 👌..cheers

I will agree to this, it can definately improve on modulation
