To test CZcams's shady 'shadow-banning'; I watched my videos from totally unrelated my friend's account and the view counts remained unchanged, after many hours. That shows the credibility and honesty of Google/CZcams. It shouldn't be diffucult for them to alter anything they please by few simple clicks, if they prefer to do so.
Unfortunately this isn't an option for creators with under 1000subs, it's a bummer when the videos you don't put much effort in reach up to 80k clicks with 1M impressions but the videos with some effort don't even reach 100clicks, very confusing

I just read your comment & I am in the same boat as you. I don’t have 1000 subs so I can’t even ask CZcams why they keep putting my videos in review. I am not using any cuss words or talking about any controversial topics. My channel is about my talking cats. At Christmas I redid songs & made them into feline Christmas songs & trust me my singing is not anywhere near close to the original tune for it to be copyrighted but many got put into review & the ones that didn’t got very little views & it was because CZcams choose not to push them at all. I know my videos are not the best but when they are put in peoples feed they get watched, they are goofy & most are shorts because my longer one CZcams seems to really dislike. Sorry for the book I was just wondering if it was me but I guess not. Did yours get any better? Did you find out any fixes for it or is it like I am beginning to think for some reason CZcams just picks who they like to promote & if you fail to fall into that group too bad. Good luck.

When they turned off ad revenue (yellow dollar sign instead of green) I put vids to private so they couldn't make ad revenue either. That got their attention. They did it once more and never again...
I know I’ve definitely been shadow banned. They apparently last only 24-48 hours, however I am still confused. Community posts are my main sources of interaction and content, as I post three memes a day, and only upload actual videos every Saturday and Sunday. When I got shadow banned, I had a _massive_ drop in likes on my community posts. Now it has been 12 days since I was shadow banned, and only one single community post has garnered over 100 likes. The videos I uploaded last weekend both performed well and got over 100 views, but my community posts are _still_ performing terribly. I can’t tell if they’re just abusing their own system and shadow banning me whenever the 24-48 hour period is over, or that community posts get hit the hardest when shadow banned and take longer to start performing well again. This is CZcams’s main way of trying to demotivate people from providing content on their channel.
At this point I really tried everything with my videos. And the recent 5 videos died off extremely fast. It looked like YT was limiting the reach. Each subsequent video was getting less ans less views. So I tried now contacting the support. Hopefully they can resolve our problem.

yeah tried your way and even talked to the yt rep for about 20mins and said they didnt shadow ban but said for me to keep trying I even showed screenshots on 4 hrs not a single view which is BS so nothing hasn't changed the yt rep was a nice person but looks like they didnt give me the same thing you got.

Because you are making video that no one search for or have very low search volume. I've checked your channel and noticed that you have five videos with over 20K views. Consider creating more content similar to those, especially 'how-to' videos like 'How to Install Linux in VMware' or 'How to Dual Boot Windows and Linux.

@@NicolasTatowski Yes I just figured that for me, youtube wants short clips, until I have enough of a subscriber base, I feel like my airtime is limited, which is a shame because I lose some of myself and the comedy factor when shortening to 12 seconds and below. The shorter clips do far better though. I'm also noticing a strange change right now where some shorts (not all) pop off at exactly 6 hours and 4 minutes after posting. So I've been clever with this knowledge and posted clips 6-7 hours before I know I'm going to be live! Seems to help a lot. Let me know what issues your having ill see if I can help

it can go both ways, sometimes your video gets "flagged" from my experience it just means it won't get many views. If your whole channel is "flagged" then people most likely won't see your comments, I can read yours, however.

@NedHELP Shadow Ban is TRUE⛔ My best video, which is more than 1 hour long, had 3.1 million views! This video was top 2 in the world! And kept it for almost 10 months, until a few days ago it just stopped being seen and even being in search, the views of this video dropped to 0. I wrote to technical support and they confirmed to me that my video is no longer in youtube search, as the audience does not match. Technical support refused to explain what does not match, and said they could not help me. The funny thing is that in the youtube creative studio, the video has no violations and I had it set as not for children. A few hours after talking to technical support video again began to be in the search, but about 30 pages and lost the statistics of viewing moments in the video(( And unfortunately, this video is no longer a Top 2 in the world again, as when I did it, I was 1 of the first, and now the hundreds of videos like this ... The channel was damaged dramatically😞😞
That’s really crappy. I’ve suffered a similar fate but to a less extreme level. I was one of the top growing channels in my niche. Out of nowhere they stopped showing my videos. I could have the president on for an interview and get 100 views maybe. It’s total garbage and I haven’t been able to dig out of this hole.
My comments have been shadow banned, too, on one or two CZcams channels. Also, some replys to my comments I can't view either. I see a few but not all of them. It's really annoying.
It happens to me all the time. I think my channel is shadowbanned because of my "wrong-think" comments. The YT bots probably assume my videos are "wrong-think" too, while I have only some videos of animals and some tributes to movies and shows on my channel + a lot of saved playlists, mostly of music.
I don’t normally get many views, but in a series where I am posting my art, I am getting no views. Absolutely 0. Which is concerning seeing as I have around 50 subs. Not even one of them have clicked on the video? It doesn’t seem statistically correct.
I think I am definetely shadow banned. I upload music mixes, and all of them obviously has copyright claims, which was normal. But 2 certain mix has 3 tracks completely blocked/muted in certain countries all and since those uploaded I barely got any new subscribers, my views dropped drastically. I'm thinking to remove those 2 mixes and upload them again without those tracks but not sure if that helps. I'd like to write them, but I don't have that button on the top what you have.

This doesn't just happen to super small channels, I have over 40000 subscribers that i've gained over the last 6 years on youtube, with videos consistently getting over 5000 views. you need to be partnered with youtube to get that contact support tab, your best bet is reaching out to them elsewhere

Hi JG. Same with me. It used to be that when I left any comment, I got lots of likes. Now, I'm lucky to get one no matter what I say.
Now it doesn't happen often but some videos i comment on get deleted right after i posted it its so strange.. hope youtube fixes it my comment isnt anything serious or negative just talking about video games..

Im on a point where i want to give up to be honest spent so much time for my passion enjoyed the 1 years but now ... com on 50 views ? No like no comment .. while i know for a fact there are MUCH worst channel that get all the attention its not like the ALGO trying to help..is it shadowban ? Not sure but youtube not doing their homework MY audiance is the Same as someone who make this type of video BUT youtube wont show it to This audiance
I opened up two accounts because I would post a comment and then I would have my daughter go look for it and it would be gone so then I started posting comments on my other account and they would show up and then my other one would go away..
Now most my comments that show on my phone as being posted underneath someone's reply when I go on my other account and look at it it is not there?!!
I have suffered this before, it's sad that support team don't give necessary help when we need them. Thanks to my friend who referred me to XSolve.1

CZcams has gotten so bad that most of the time you don't even know why you were banned.
I don't have the contact support option you have there? How do I access that. My shorts have started performing terrible for the last few days. And nothing has changed in the way I make them or the content themselves...

@@NicolasTatowski Yes I just figured that for me, youtube wants short clips, until I have enough of a subscriber base, I feel like my airtime is limited, which is a shame because I lose some of myself and the comedy factor when shortening to 12 seconds and below. The shorter clips do far better though. I'm also noticing a strange change right now where some shorts (not all) pop off at exactly 6 hours and 4 minutes after posting. So I've been clever with this knowledge and posted clips 6-7 hours before I know I'm going to be live! Seems to help a lot. Let me know what issues your having ill see if I can help

I was getting 40k+ impressions on Need For Speed Most Wanted videos.
When I tried Red Dead Redemption 2 which isn't a bad game, I got only 88 impressions since it was published.
i went from getting around 2k views per video to like 10 just randomly and the thing is i never changed my content and it actually got better so yk how to fix it?

That's unfortunate. You can sort this out, waiting for support team may take forever. In my case I wrote many appeal with no positive response

it can go both ways, sometimes your video gets "flagged" from my experience it just means it won't get many views. If your whole channel is "flagged" then people most likely won't see your comments, I can read yours, however.

Im Shadowbanned on youtube and Tiktok. Great, I love it, but i won't give up. People say it's demotivating true, but thats how they want you to feel. im not giving up. i did too many times and regretted it, and im sure you dont want to give up either. Keep pushing no ones content is bad. We are all creative, especially in our own ways. ❤

All my videos are like this. They get 100-200 views then die off after a few days. Every single one. I make casual travel vlogs. I honestly could fly to mars and interview an alien and that video would still get 100 views lol.

@NedHELP Shadow Ban is TRUE⛔ My best video, which is more than 1 hour long, had 3.1 million views! This video was top 2 in the world! And kept it for almost 10 months, until a few days ago it just stopped being seen and even being in search, the views of this video dropped to 0. I wrote to technical support and they confirmed to me that my video is no longer in youtube search, as the audience does not match. Technical support refused to explain what does not match, and said they could not help me. The funny thing is that in the youtube creative studio, the video has no violations and I had it set as not for children. A few hours after talking to technical support video again began to be in the search, but about 30 pages and lost the statistics of viewing moments in the video(( And unfortunately, this video is no longer a Top 2 in the world again, as when I did it, I was 1 of the first, and now the hundreds of videos like this ... The channel was damaged dramatically😞😞
That’s really crappy. I’ve suffered a similar fate but to a less extreme level. I was one of the top growing channels in my niche. Out of nowhere they stopped showing my videos. I could have the president on for an interview and get 100 views maybe. It’s total garbage and I haven’t been able to dig out of this hole.

My comments have been shadow banned, too, on one or two CZcams channels. Also, some replys to my comments I can't view either. I see a few but not all of them. It's really annoying.
O yeah, they hide, you even delete comments all the time. Gotta try to type in code sometimes if its something you know will get hidden ha.
It happens to me all the time. I think my channel is shadowbanned because of my "wrong-think" comments. The YT bots probably assume my videos are "wrong-think" too, while I have only some videos of animals and some tributes to movies and shows on my channel + a lot of saved playlists, mostly of music.

I think I am definetely shadow banned. I upload music mixes, and all of them obviously has copyright claims, which was normal. But 2 certain mix has 3 tracks completely blocked/muted in certain countries all and since those uploaded I barely got any new subscribers, my views dropped drastically.
I'm thinking to remove those 2 mixes and upload them again without those tracks but not sure if that helps.

I'm going to give it a try. This doesn't just happen to super small channels, I have over 40000 subscribers that i've gained over the last 6 years on youtube, with videos consistently getting over 5000 views. In the last 2 years my views have dropped dramatically, even though I post more now. I can barely get over 500 views on my videos. It's so messed up. My subscribers don't even get notified when a new vid is up. I'm going to try contacting youtube. thanks

your comment will be gone. Go back an hour later and if it's gone youtube deleted it.
