I'm really happy to see Evan, Matt, Jesse, and Charlie. They're the best that Avril's ever had
Damn, this would have been so hard to do. And it's not like the translator is slightly more quiet than Avril while she was talking over her, this would have driven me crazy
I grew up and still am a massive Avril Lavigne fan, I’m annoyed by the comparison of Billie Eilish being the “New” Avril Lavigne. If you failed to notice Avril is still relevant, she still is making music and their styles are way different. Avril is punk rock being the Punk Princess vs Billie who is Pop, alternative, trap music, electro and indie pop she doen’t even like to label it. Their similarities are being unique, young female music artist when they started. I’m not hating on Billie here, she has her own unique style of music just as Avril does, its more of a insult to the both of them when you think about it. My generation had Avril, the new generation has Billie, but Billie isn’t Avril by any means. This is just my opinion of course, I’m not the only one who feels this way either, look it up. Anyways stay safe everybody, wear a mask, wash your hands, don’t touch your face and keep that distance ect haha. Peace
I agree. I think Billie is this generations equivalent of Avril. Being an equivalent and being the same as is not remotely the same thing. Billie is to this generation what Avril was to ours. Just like Joan Jett was to the generation from the 70s and 80s. They all are strong independant women who give zero fucks about societal normals. They stand up for what they believe in. They are very unique artists with their own style and are more than happy with that. They also are very kinda and caring people who seem insanely down to earth. But... to say they are the same is just glaringly wrong. Nothing about their music is the same. Unless you count Avril's covers of Joan's songs, in which case they're covers. That argument isn't going to go anywhere. They are not similar at all in terms of music or career paths. To imply their music is the same shows that you haven't actually listened to any of them and are just assuming based off of pre-conceived misconceptions. Which is always a bad thing to do.

I remember when this was on air. Mola (the host) had such a great laugh when Avril said "this is crazy". They use to talk on viva channel with the translation being pronounced by a host of the show or with the titles if it wasn't live. This was a very bad solution when they came up with this idea of communication. 😂
Nobody thinks let’s do subtitles instead ? This is clearly not working,
Subtitels aren't a big thing here in germany, overdubing is more helpful for olders or people that just don't talk english.

There's a reason why the military tried to use sonic feedback as a weapon. Anything soldiers would say or do would be amplified and send back at them with a delay so they couldn't talk or communicate effectively. Virtually disabling their units.
