I think the 'doesn't he look like my son?' was Xie Lian deflecting people from realising who Hua Cheng was by getting them to focus on the uncomfortable idea of him having children. And if Jun Wu isn't old enough to be the Wukong prince.... OH my _gods_ I think I just figured it out! 28:09 Oh god it really does feel like that! And sometimes you get a peek INSIDE the pyramid through like, some warped glass and you go 'that would be a really cool scene to witness directly!' And MXTX goes 'haha no' Pretty much like MDZS and the whole of the siege of the burial mounds. Would've loved to see that.

Was cute seeing Xei Lian doting on child-sized Hau Cheng, I like thinking that the "Doesn't he look like my son? ^_^" Is a hint of wanting to possibly have a kid that looks like Hau Cheng in the future, as well as throwing people off. Generally found Hau Cheng being supportive of Xei Lian and learning more about Yin Yu and Hau Cheng's abilities, and just how much of a inside hold he had in the Heavenly Capital. Look forward to seeing your next review of Book 6, and love the season 2 dub so far!
I can't wait to see the rest of the show. :) Trying to understand drawings, animation or art of any kind as a totally blind person is fascinating in theory for me, but as I was born blind, I take or infer a lot from tone of voice or audio description in a show if it has that, so it's neat to hear a bit from yours and Howard Wang's perspectives. And BTW, I only found out about this series, both book and show about a month ago and I'm hooked... Already read all the books. Any word on if there'll be an official audiobook release? Hua Cheng is certainly an interesting character. 1:04:11
