This made the idea of learning editing way less intimidating! Thanks!
Great tutorial, thank you! The fact that you got a shader downloaded and created working parameters within minutes is a huge relief, especially with the level of detail you’ve included. I’m inspired now.
Happy to hear that, keep it up
Oh! Universe was waiting for this tutorial! Thank you very much! This one much better then official one
thank you so much!
You’re the best!
Saw this tutorial now,
What a great interface to work with GLSL,
As it so easy to Spout to real-time softwares as Touch, or even Resolume , is such a game changer .
Thanks so much!
min 4:30 i can not find the scene.jason in app, but if i look for the scene folder i can see it, but if i open it it does not show what you are showing in that section of your video, any help please?
This is a fantastic tutorial. TBH, as someone who knows nothing about this type of coding, this still feels a bit overwhelming. That being said, could one technically open the editing on one of the built in scenes and copy/paste some of the scene controls into our custom scene?
Thank you in advanced for responding.
Thank you for your comment! You can copy paste the scenes from Shadertoy to render the visuals, but in order to make them audio reactive or controllable you do need to edit the shader yourself with glsl. Just copy pasting will not make it audio reactive, because without your input, Synesthesia will "not know" what to make audio reactive. So the workflow I would suggest, is to copy paste the shader toy scene, then pipe out the whole thing on TouchDesigner with a Syphon/Spout and then make it audio reactive on TouchDesigner, since this is easier and doesn't require any glsl.
Is there a synesthesia discord channel?
Yes, just google Synesthesia software discord and in a reddit post you will find it.
