While I like the guy announcing… There’s just no edit work done here. Look at every other sport… When announcers talk about basketball, they show the basketball highlight. When baseball announcers talk about baseball, they show the baseball highlight.

Don’t want to play devils advocate but NBC will absolutely nuke this channel if they use Olympic film. It does not fall under fair use and have eliminated many CZcams channels for trying to reuse their distribution rights

He certainly has the motivation with the recent passing of his father, but I'm concerned about the other guys being too fast and too strong for him given that Dake is now 33. But a very young 33, as Dake once stated "I'm getting younger and younger"

Interesting that there are still plenty of people that view real life challenges like a movie.
There are always chances to lose at that level. That’s what makes people like Burroughs or Smith, and Fadzaev so special. There are others.
Dake is awesome- we know with everyone at their healthiest, and Dake at his clearest mindset… he can beat everybody. He has all the tools necessary to even beat that Russian if he were there.
If Kyle is at peak health and determined like we’ve seen before, like almost on the edge of “pissed off”, yes he is THE best there.
If he loses a match or more at these Olympics it wouldn’t make it any different for what we know Dake can do.
At that level, a fraction of a second of lost focus can make the difference. Being hungry enough will make it possible, since the skills are so high there’s like a six-way tie.
All these Dagestanis seem to all have superior training and genetics in wrestling or maybe its just ingrained in the culture.
On top of that their best athletes choose to wrestle. Our best athletes choose other sports, not wrestling. I think if USA’s best athletes wrestled, we would have the dominance that Dagestani wrestlers have.
Tsabolov from Serbia will be a big challenge for Kyle Dake.

Dake is the man, and if he wins the gold he will officially be the only man to beat 'Father Time'. Having said that, I think Zhamalov takes gold; he's 26, faster and stronger than Dake being 7 years younger...also coached by the legendary Saitev brothers, and Zhamalov is totally peaking.
I agree. Zhamalov is the best wrestler in the weight class but it's so tight that alot of them can win the gold.

Not really. His odds of winning is very low. In their last match Dake was ahead and didn't need to do more. Otherwise Dake would've done more.
