huzzah i have successfully disassembled my brothers speakers now need to mentally and physically prepare myself for the abuse im going to endure from him tomorrow :D
For a cheap sound system, the Z13 is really reliable.
Thanks, wouldn't have guessed it's glue gun glue holding the wire in place at 2:35, preventing pcb assembly removal. There's annoyingly a lot of glue just plastered all over that assembly, and tricky to access screws that hold it together. Probably to prevent it coming apart from bass vibration, but makes disassembly / repair very tedious. I had to cut/resolder wire going to volume control / audio in, as it went bad from twist/bend wear near the entry point. At least the wiring is copper, solders well.
I have bought ton's of these never had a problem. And the sound is amazing out of them.
Give Creative speakers a try.
edstar83 a tip for them is seal the box because they make alot of port noise
They most certainly sound like shit
@@edstar83 Creative speakers are nice. I've used a nice set of some for about 15 years now. Inspire 5100s I think. They finally died on me so I picked these up. For the price their good since their discounted to $30 now. If they were still fifty bucks I'd say yeah get the creatives since their 5.1 system is around sixty but the logitechs do quite nicely for the price.
@@pimptom8704 True. I'm still using my creative inspire 2500 5.1 that i got when they intially launched. I still love them.
They should have put a double flared port into this one wil sound much better.
This is basicly the same pipe as they used since 2008 and they know it creates port noise on high volume :) wish they just flared it like they did with an even cheaper 2.1 set they sell.
Dont get it that this Z313 cost a bit more but has cheaper bassport in it cardboard instead of the pvc double flared port used in their cheaper version the Z213
I have the X-210 system, love the cute little 4 inch woofer! It's hilarious!
Thank you! I need to drill a hole in my pair of speakers, and you've saved me lots of time by revealing what's inside there to avoid. 👍
Glad I could help!
Bruh i just repaired one of my z-313 with help of your disassembly. thank you!
My subwoofer started giving cracking sound after 20 days of use only. What should i do to fix it?
Check the amplifier and see if there is any signs of something burnt
Check the woofer for that to
@@nizamersoftdo those steps
thanks a lot, I think I will add in some 'dacron' [ polyester white pillow stuffing / batting ] to the satellite and subwoofer enclosures, nice to know where the 2x6 satellite screws are
I removed the cloth covering the speaker on the satelites. It looks way nicer with the bare speaker.
The sub is surprisingly good, the passive satellites not so good. Team that sub up with a decent pair of active satellites (I used a JBL "Platinum Series" pair) and boy howdy does that combination sound great!
how did you do it? I wanna change my satellites to but i don't know how
pls reply :(
@@phuongtruongduy580 --- If they're normal "computer speaker" satellites with a standard 3.5mm "aux" plug, just insert that plug into the matching receptacle in the back of the subwoofer -- the same place to which you'd connect the passive satellites that came with the Z313 system -- then adjust the satellite volume knob to balance with the subwoofer.
@@editorjuno thank you I think I will use the logitech z120 as satellite speakers because I couldn't find a pair of jbl like yours. I hope it can improve the sound quality. Anyways thank you for the advice.
Man... Film the amplifier boards... What ic or mosfet or transistor they use.... Try to film that also... That would be awesome...
thanks for the advice, will try to do in the future
tda ic 2030
my power supply board is dead :(
very simple to repair
Well done!
Can you please take apart the control so i can see the pcb? Please
thanks for the video. how did u find out how to open them ? I only found the 2 screws at the bottom - that did not help much,
STA540 Power Amplifier.
can you please advice satellite speakers sizes? i would like to replace mine for new more powerful
Hi like your all video
Plz make one with zebronic 11200 tower speaker look inside video
we dont have zebronic 11200 speaker in Latvia.
are u able to remove the grill like that on the z506?
Thanks for the video! I've had these for a few years now and my son had lodged a marble into the satellite speaker tube and I couldn't figure out where the other screws were aside from the bottom, lol. All fixed now! ;)
nice to hear :)
I was try to take apart that hole, guess it is a bit complicated
i am trying to screw the thing into the wall so im trying to find a hollow spot
Do more logitech
of course, I wait for some new logitech speaker, to do videos - just subscribe and follow :)
My z313 produces weird noises, I want to seek help from you bro. Can you help me figure out how to fix this problem of mine ?
That sub looks strikingly similar to my X-210.
They're basically the same system, but with updated satellite speakers.
is that 3inch subwoofer...??
Shahruddin Din its a 4" driver
Ik what 3" drivers look like
Kannst du das mal mit die Z-340 machen?? Währe cool
Did you measured the subwoofer diameter? It's a 4" (100mm)?
it's so tiny you can't measure it lol
it is a 4".
whats the ic used in logitech z313 , part number
st540
sta540
yo whats the green piece (the green board thing with the silver pins) called
which piece do you think? Please give timecode.
bro i doubt these speakers are 50 watts, theyre atleast 10 watts (5 for the sub, 2.5 per channel), if 50 watts were driven into those speakers, they wouldnt last even a hour
It’s 25 RMS power draw from the wall, 50 peak. The wattage would be split between all 3.
@@Dudeitsbrian eh the website shows the sub is 15w, thats more believeable
why old version?
who has the old version?
Is it possible to buy Logitech z213 2.1 speakers subwoofer motherboard from out side shops.
no way, just buy new system, repair old motherboard or search for donor.
just save up a little bit then go for the z333
So tomorrow my new LK Iloud Micro's arrive. I'll give away my Z313's. I cleaned the potmeter with alcohol so it sounds good and stereo;). This was allready my third set. For cheap consumer pc-speaker audio it does the job really well. But as you would expect, it lacks clear mids because that would cost ya;).
I use the Iloud Micro's in the studio too as nearfield editing monitors.
What is the name of the main ic in the pcb?
sorry, but I don't have that speakers anymore
Gostei muito du som
The port on the satellite is one of the smallest port on the world haha
but they have good qulity
Amrut Arb no they don't mine lasted a week i had it on half volume
+TheLitPanda FX mine's are still working
+MRBLOXY they are for the price
MRBLOXY i got brand new ones
My speakers is the same as this one in the video and I literally found out a few mins ago that it isn’t working. Someone borrowed it and when I got it back, I plugged it in and now it’s not even turning on (no green light). Is anyone able to help me fix this, pls? I’d rather fix it than spend money on buying another set of speakers. I’ve never had problems with it till someone else had it. Smh.
Another Dick thanks so much :))
Check if the VCC+, and GRND Wires are connected to the main amplifier board running from the power transformer inside the box
Is there a way to lower the volume of the bass?
Only with eq
Warum Bassreflex in den Satelliten? :D
Das macht nix außer die Präzision verringern :D
please make video of band pass subwoofe home thetre and bass test
what is the internal DC voltage out from the transformer board? 12V?
Ryad Arlan yes
where is the amp IC ??????
@Dio gamer hahaha I know, but why didn't you show it? If you want to make such video, then make it properly. In case you didn't know, Its an important object for Tech savvies.
Please do a bass test of this system! 😭
Vasilis 825 this system has none I Can tell you
it has only bass with the windows media player "graphic-equalizer" settings
the subwoofer sucks
I have a bass test on my channel.😁
I have done this before
STA540.
And im alves doin
Was soll der Blödsinn???
you didnt even list the subwoofer and satellite speaker diameters. why should I waste my time with this video lmao
It 4" subwoofer or 5"?
4"
U took apart everything but the controller..the one thing u needed
get what you pay for
the subwoofer sucks in it
these are cheap category speakers, not to blame Logitech!
@techscrews please help i need that speaker
Cheaper will be buy another second hand system.
