Great performance!I was fortunate enough to play this tune with Michel in Dublin in 2010...Scared the life out of me to do it, but what a great experience, one I won't ever forget.

Magnifique ! Quel musicien de génie que Michel Legrand... J'ai eu la chance de le rencontrer au Latitude club hotel de Val d'Isere en France, j'accompagnais Rhoda Scott à la batterie , je l'ai brievement accompagné , et après le concert , il m'a permis de jouer un solo de batterie après qu'il ai clôturé la soirée! (avec la chanteuse Américaine Rachel Ferrell et son mari batteur ,Gilles Naturel (contrebasse ) et et Eddie Barclay qui avait chanté (très cool ! ) ...Ce qui était vraiment très gentil de sa part ! Un monsieur simple Michel Legrand ... et ...un génie musicien .
un des meilleurs souvenirs de ma vie de musicien professionnel !

Use to catch Phil Woods periodically at LA's Hermosa Beach Lighthouse 'always a 3 set evening' & wanted more.... & Michel Legrand was a touch of Heaven on earth as pianist/composer 'Michel did it All & Well !!

Jazz swinging from the chandeliers I'd say....letting go and making music...Eric Lagace's bass solo was very melodic and Ray Brinker reminds me of Steve Gadd.

Fabuleux, génial, magnifique... il n'y a pas de superlatif assez fort !!! Michel Legrand vient de nous quitter et j'en suis très triste. Avec Phil Woods parti en 2015, ils doivent se faire des boeufs là-haut ! Mais ces gens ne meurent jamais vraiment. Nous les gardons dans nos esprits tellement vivants.

So tight & clean & reminiscent of many Jam-packed Hollywood Bowl Summer Jazz concerts I used to catch, not to mention the surrounding LA Jazz Clubs there were All over the LA map back in the Day

Fantastic cohesion of all the band. They play like a single man ! Great concert.
A very special performance by all ... Phil just seemed to get better with age .. Still had the incredible technique and mastery of the horn plus such beautiful melodic lines. So rare because it's so very hard to do ... His solo here is one of his best .. Also check him out in Phil woods with strings playing I'll Remember April ... Incredible ..

Quelle technique quel swing quelle impro excellent pianiste de jazz français ( un peu arménien je crois aussi ) comme quoi les français savent swinguer au piano, j'adore ce thème qu'il a composé "watch what happens". Bien sur je n'oublie pas Phil Woods excellent lui aussi. Sophie Madaghdjian.
