My neighbor died when a snake bit him while he was asleep. His family went to every sapera in the area. They only went to the hospital to get his insurance. And there are very few hospitals with antivenom. In Sonipat, I know only one hospital with antivenom available. I mailed almost every hospital, and only one replied with yes.
That 24 hours. Still giving me nightmares. I must be 8 at that time. When i was in my grandparents house in village during summer vacations. And got stung by a Scorpion. And my grandmother gave me some herbs only. No doctor was there. And it was already so late (9pm- yes it's late night for villages). That pain stayed for around 24 hours. It was like a wave of pain from my toe, where i was stung, to the hair tips. 🤯 Some how my grandmother is immune to it. I saw her crushing scorpions using bare feet. I haven't seen such a daring lady in my whole life yet.
