It was a great joy to experience fusion from the front row at a concert around 15yrs ago! Shafqat has a tormented soul like many sensitive people, who faced abandonment in childhood and rejection in adulthood, yet his success is his heavy footprint on the sand of time in the form of peaceful music he has created out of his turbulent feelings and emotions through a humble submission to fate and talent.
I wish he takes a leap of faith to come out of his seclusion and start recording his riyaz and knowledge to preserve it and share it with music learners. His family's music would be an asset for any library. It's time to ressurect classical music, so that the few great semi-classical singers/musicians that we have, are no more underrated as they have been in the past decade or so.

Great! I liked the previous set, purple wall with textured paint look wide and big as compared to this set which look smaller and squeezed. Sitting separately look certainly better. This program's tempo and production is excellent and reminds us to the great golden period of PTV productions without any jugglery of quick editing and a lots of insets and moving elements which you see at every channel, even in talk shows in the sea of red, orange and blue! Samina Pirzada's hosting is just perfect and she is equally good host!
