Owner from China, brilliant car and it’s the only European hot hatch we can get here, standard manual, 24k miles I get. Great great chassis and sufficient power. Only thing I dislike is the clutch, too heavy, nothing else I can complain
2013 and 2014 should have been called for the recall. Rust is now starting to appear on early cars, rear quarters where rear bumper meets body and rear arches. Security is another thing any potential owners need to look in to. Any thing that isnt sounding right or loks right, walk away. Loads of St's on the market. The st forum has a buyers guide that will help.
I would say your locking wheel nuts were probably over tightened. Ford uses a standard locking wheel nut for all of their range of cars. The one thing I don't like about Ford wheel nuts is the size. They have like a chrome cover over the standard metric size nut making them awkward to remove with a standard metric socket. Minor complaint though. I love my Fiesta ST!
Buy one if you want one pal their brilliant cars I’m 50 next year and I’ve been driving a st180 for the last 4 years i drove my sons one and loved it had to buy myself one

And the number plate doesn’t fit well, but I fill something to gap it to fix the noise

Just make sure it's got good service history, do your usual checks, if it's been looked after should be a good car!
