    I had a few questions.
    I noticed some of what you mentioned seemed to be very similar as one who is a calvinist ( or what John Calvin reasoned). Is that also something you abide by?
    you mentioned "backsliding" and Jesus is saying "come back home" .. why would that be necessary? Because if "they went out from us, they were never from us" and "if they were of us, they would continue with us". I didn't understand the co-relation.

    Nice message. Something for encouragement. You mentioned what we must do to be saved, nothing but believe the finished work of Jesus. What is this finished work and how can we receive it? According to the Bible one of the best example is Acts 2: 36-41. This is the complete steps for a person to reason salvation. Many teaching in tradtional Christian church just "beat around the Bush" and dont tell the truth, so people think that they are saved and goes lofe long in the circle of sin and guilt, and never realize why is it not working out. The reason is this: hear the word Acts 2:29-33. Accept the word: Acts 2: 36- 37. Be transformed by the word and take the steps, Acts 2: 38-40. Repentence and followed by Baptism, not the other way around. Blessings.

    • @santhoshvarghese9330
      @santhoshvarghese9330 Před 4 lety +1

      If baptism is necessary for salvation, why would Paul have said, “I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius” (1 Corinthians 1:14)? Why would he have said, “For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel-not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power” (1 Corinthians 1:17)? Granted, in this passage Paul is arguing against the divisions that plagued the Corinthian church. However, how could Paul possibly say, “I am thankful that I did not baptize…” or “For Christ did not send me to baptize…” if baptism were necessary for salvation? If baptism is necessary for salvation, Paul would literally be saying, “I am thankful that you were not saved…” and “For Christ did not send me to save…” That would be an unbelievably ridiculous statement for Paul to make. Further, when Paul gives a detailed outline of what he considers the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-8), why does he neglect to mention baptism? If baptism is a requirement for salvation, how could any presentation of the gospel lack a mention of baptism?
      Baptism is not necessary for salvation. Baptism does not save from sin but from a bad conscience. In 1 Peter 3:21, Peter clearly taught that baptism was not a ceremonial act of physical purification, but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. Baptism is the symbol of what has already occurred in the heart and life of one who has trusted Christ as Savior (Romans 6:3-5; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12). Baptism is an important step of obedience that every Christian should take. Baptism cannot be a requirement for salvation. To make it such is an attack on the sufficiency of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

    • @binnyv3247
      @binnyv3247 Před 3 lety +1

      @@santhoshvarghese9330 I am not arguing about Baptism, but Salvation and baptism goes hand in hand. The scritupre that you are referring to Apostor Paul did not baptise, was for a particular church. Apostle Paul baptize many and eatablished many church. 2 examples from the Bible is the family of Lydia, the philipian Jailor an his family, and many other in the Bible. If we are truly saved, a transformation happens. The old self dies, knowing more about Christ will lead to Baptism for true believers. He or she will not think about anything else, if my community will put me out of the traditional Church or if my parents will through out of the home etc etc..But With Baptism, you get the seal of Christ, blood of Jesus. You move from power of darkness of power of light Colossian 1:12-13. With Baptism, represents a new Life, as we come out of the water. Water represents a burial and new birth with living Christ. Blessing

      @santhoshvarghese9330 Před 3 lety +1

      @@binnyv3247 Thank you for your reply.
      In the New Testament, the word saved is used for what happens before, in, and after baptism.
      Ephesians 2:8: We “have been saved.”
      1 Corinthians 1:18: We “are being saved.”
      Romans 13:11: “Salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”
      Faith precedes baptism and is operative in baptism. So we are justified at the very first act of genuine saving faith in Christ, and then baptism follows, and preferably would follow soon, as an outward expression of that inward reality.
      Water baptism is certainly important, and required of every believer. However, the New Testament does not teach that baptism is necessary for salvation.
      In fact, baptism is the very first command Jesus gives a beliver after repentance. If he cannot obey this simple instruction, how can you obey more challenging ones?

      @binnyv3247 Před 3 lety

      @@santhoshvarghese9330 thanks for the reply. Baptism is not the act of saving Grace. But Baptism is needed of a new Believer. He or She must do it at some point of their life, sooner than later. Many traditional Christian church such as Marthoma, Orthodox, Catholic denomination doesnt teach any of the above. So people are led by blind guide. Many who are saved are realizing this mystery which the "the true Church" taking baptism and coming out. But when he came to light and saved, God released him. But the consequences of old sin is still there. That means he is still sick ,why God dnt heal him from his old sickness from old sin. ??? Charles Binny thanks for the question.. I think I have made it clear.. there are consequences of sin in the life of a believer.. what you have mentioned above is a prime example of the same.. that’s why a believer should walk circumspectly.. God may choose to heal him from his physical afflictions.. but certain consequences are real

    • @charlesbinny4u
      @charlesbinny4u Před 4 lety

      But "By his stripes we are healed". So when Jesus died at cross, healing for the sickness is already paidoff. So why there is an exemption. Scripture also says " He healed all those who came to Him". When we r saved we come to him. So as salvation healing to be manifested i blv.

    • @santhoshvarghese9330
      @santhoshvarghese9330 Před 4 lety +2

      @@charlesbinny4u Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the apostle Peter wrote, “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” In Isaiah 53, Jesus’ future life on earth was foretold in the clearest of terms, to include his eventual torture and death: “But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds (stripes) we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24).
      Although these two verses are central to the topic of healing, they are often misunderstood and misapplied. The word “healed” as translated from both Hebrew and Greek, can mean either spiritual or physical healing. However, the contexts of Isaiah 53 and 1 Peter 2 make it clear that they are referring to spiritual healing, not physical. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24). The verse is referring to sin and righteousness, not sickness and disease. Therefore, being “healed” in both these verses is speaking of being forgiven and saved, not being physically healed.

    The most misquoted verse in the bible Romans 6:23 , here false work based heretic preachers quote this verse and claim that “Sin bring bondage” coupled with Verse John 8:34. .......And they mix salvation and rewards which intern creating confusion for believers ……..
    To have a better understanding please refer to my earlier note on “Jesus is freeing a believer from sin Or Law" on John 8:34
    ...........Let’s examine the scriptures.
    Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord………here What does Paul meant by sin? ……………. 1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law…………Here Paul refers the sin is to Law because power of Sin is Law…………..What is bringing a believer to bondage ? Sin or Law ? ……And the answer bondage is coming from Law………..Galatians 5:11 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage……………Here Paul is saying these Judaizers who were preaching Christ + Law for salvation was bring back Galatians to bondage ...…..Clearly we see it is going back to law based system for salvation is called as “going back to bondage”……………………..Also Notice Romans 6:17-18 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness………….Notice here …..when does a person is servant of sin ? when he is NOT a believer and notice when a believer believes in Christ his position in Christ has changes to “servants of righteousness”….....A person gets Christ righteousness by faith and not by his own works for salvation…..…and we all know a believer still struggles with sin issues in his life which even Apostle Paul himself suffered with sin issues( Romans 7:23)
    ................Let's look from another angle …………. Matthew 9:16 “Besides, who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before……………Here God is not dealing with old man ( Flesh) but instead he gives a new birth to a believer ( which cannot sin 1st john 3:9…………..…its not talking about believer himself but a new person inside the believer ) ………. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life…………Notice here Jesus is telling that visible body does not gaining anything…..…A believer does not get any supernatural power to win our his fleshly desire , instead he need to exercise his own will power to chain his body (1 Corinthians 9:27 ) …………this is will earn him rewards but nothing to do with his salvation………………Lastly if a OSAS believer continuies to do sins on, his father in heaven will punish him here in the earth itself but concerning his salvation he is secured because his salvation is dependent on the finished work of Christ. ............OSAS stands

    A believer cannot lose salvation. If works cannot save you, then works cannot lose your salvation as well. I think you genuinely love the God , but are dead wrong about the Salvation. Works and Salvation are not complimentary. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY

    This is false doctrine.he is completely contradicting his previous video message of salvation is a Gift and by faith alone. Now he says works are the proof of salvation and true believers have to persevere to the end to be saved. Persevering till the end is good works. So indirectly he is telling salvation is not a gift and you have to do works to maintain your salvation.

      I am Baptist I hope you followed through the whole series. This series is titled the result of regeneration - which means the outcome that you expect from a regenerate (born again) believer which is the labours of love (faith in action). Perseverance of the saints is proof of your salvation and as Jesus said a tree will be known by its fruit. Hope this clarifies.

      I am Baptist it’s obvious as to where his destiny would be right? I don’t think that contradicts what I said. But if a person continues in sin, the Bible encourages us to check if he is “regenerate” in the first place. So the question is, if your friend has saving faith or not. And if he does, it’s not our sinless perfection that ensures heaven for us, but the finished work of Jesus. Having said that the result of regeneration would be the pursuit of holiness
