On April 15, 2023, RSF soldiers attacked the SAF and took control of several government buildings. In response, the SAF retaliated with heavy artillery, leading to a civil war in Sudan. Due to this conflict, more than 15,000 people have lost their lives, and approximately 8.5 million people have been displaced from their homes. People are left without food and water. The conditions in Sudan are worse than those in Gaza. However, the difference here is that the turmoil in Sudan, a Muslim-majority country, is being caused by other Muslim countries, namely Saudi Arabia and the UAE not Israel.
