- In this video, Dylan from Alarm Grid discusses how to retrieve the IMEI number of the Qolsys IQ Panel 4 so that you can set your panel up for monitoring through Alarm.com.

02:46 - Connect to WIFI
03:13 - Find IMEI on Back of Panel
03:43 - Test Communication Paths

It's hard to talk about cellular monitoring without talking about the panel's WIFI capabilities because the two work together seamlessly. Only a cellular connection is required for monitoring, but to download firmware updates for the panel over the air, you MUST have a WIFI connection. This is why we always recommend connecting the panel to WIFI when it's available.
When the panel has both WIFI and cellular paths available, it sends each signal using both paths. The Alarm.com server knows that the same signal is potentially being sent using multiple paths, so it processes whichever signal is received first, and discards the duplicate signal. In this way, each individual signal uses the fastest available path to reach the server.

I would like to know if I can have my IQ panel 4 with not monitoring.
You can yes, There may be a constant message about registration on it but it would still function as a local sounder when armed.
I know this is unrelated to this video, but is there a way so my vista 20p doesn’t code the alarms on fire to code 3? Is there a way for it to be continuous?
If you are talking about temporal 3 sounding then no, that is hard-coded.
@@freddaniels8259 ok thanks
I have change address to new house and took the security system with me
However alarm company is saying they have to change the address inside the iq panel any idea about this pls ?
Hello Arjun, Yes, your Current Monitoring company has to modify your account information in their Dealer Portal. This is so the system has the correct information and address for your monitored location and any remote services features you have enabled.
Is it possible you can give me step by step instructions how to do that please
