Agonized over from top to bottom for low weight and high speed, Satchel Cronk built this Trek Ticket DJ specifically for the pumptracks popping up all around him, and the skill-building opportunities and simple joys that they provide.
Anchored by the stunning Ticket frame and an incredible set of Industry Nine wheels; driven, suspended, and stopped by some blingy SRAM and Rockshox bits, controlled by some classy Deity touchpoints and finished off with a few classic bits of BikeMag personalization, it all comes in at 24 pounds and rides as well as it looks.
Now, just try to convince @satchscratch that a solid pumptrack bike isn't the most approachable category of fat-tire bike out there.

This vid is near and dear to me. I had a tricked out 2011 trek ticket DJ. And a 2016 ticket slope. The DJ was the s..t. my frame at the time was worth 2500 cad. The raw dark tink with pink high lights was soo sic .. $8000 DJ stolen day before my birthday... was such a crappie birthday.. great vid brother thank you!!

I have been waiting for someone to build this frame love the wheel choice and stem undocking the dream for a moment of air bound freedom. I am not a complainer when can I come pick it up lmao. I know what's going to be my next lady for the days to come beautiful finish just very happy to see a personal dream on the screen.
Dont ask about the price u couldnt even effort that damn amount of grease tho 😂

Almost all DJ bikes use inner tubes because of the high pressure requirements and the simplicity of them. If your still running tubes on a trail bike tho, your definitely making a mistake

Why would anyone fully grease a fork and then cut and file it?? Those tons of grease have definitely picked up loads of chips

My local bike shop has something similar sitting on their floor right now. A custom build they did. And….. i can not stop thinking about it.
I would definitely use side cutters instead of a razor blade with those zip ties though. Less chance scratching that frame.

Great looking bike. Could you please tell me the stem length, Handlebar rise and handlebar width that you used on this bike build. I have a trek ticket DJ myself and I am struggling to get the bike to feel comfortable to me. I could use a little help please and thank you
get some longer grips itll give you a much more comfortable feel as you can move your hands around more

Isn't the chain too tight? I know they try to avoid the pedals from moving in the air but that seems to be too tight to me, like it's difficult to move it.
Dirt jump lines, when built correctly, require little to no pedaling at all. That chain tension is pretty much perfect for that build

What's up with the music, particularly after about the 19 minute mark? Sounds like 2 different songs playing at different tempos.
Other than that, this is very similar to my Trek Ticket from 2018. I had all Deity (grips, bar, stem, seatpost, saddle, valve covers, pedals), and my wheels weren't this fancy, but had the Pike DJ.
What rear hub you used?
This dude is so generous with that white lube that I'm thinking he should be in whole another industry
The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.

What does it put on the fork?
They are air volume spacers. Since this is a dirt bike, adding spacers can make the suspension more progressive as you move through the travel, which is ideal for heavier or more aggressive riders.
