    This interview was done twenty years ago but it is the author or the book "Wherever You Go There You Are". I have found that practicing meditation can take many forms and you can find whatever activity works for you. Instead of learning how to move away from what troubles you whether it's pain or emotional scars. You go into things that cause you stress and prevent you from operating at peak performance. Society as a whole runs away and avoids stress whether it by substance abuse or choice we make in our behavior and interaction with the world around us.The present moment is the only time we have and the only opportunity for change. The opportunity for finding peace exists only in the present moment. Mindfulness is attending the present moment and taking charge of caring for yourself. We looking through glasses fogged by our emotions and focus on what wrong.Authenticate with what is going on in your head with what is going on in your body and how you feel physically and mentally.You're going to find the ordinary and extraordinary and in-bedded in each other slow down and find peace.

    I admire JKZ so much. No bullshit when he speaks. Chooses his words so carefully. I too use the clothes-hanger meditation practice in lieu of the dryer.
