@@nightfrost1891I think it's less that they hated each other but moreso that back then Sansa/Jon were at odds end and now after all this time, trauma, loss, grief etc they probably both realize how they both took things for granted and that ultimately despite everything they are still bro/sister & are all they have left. Its such a comfort to know that they are both alive and have survived EVERYTHING since season 1.

Jon & Sansa’s reunion was the best one for me!! I still always cry when I see it. You can see in her face how she literally feels safe in his arms. Imo the fact that they didn’t get along before makes it better. Like she was a whole brat before & belittled Jon but yet she recognizes how she’s safe with him. 🖤
I think this is the first time we've actually seen Sansa & Jon together since King Robert came to Winterfell and Jon was on the 2nd row.
One of the things that always gets me about this episode is that Kit (Jon) and Sophie (Sansa) _literally_ haven't filmed together since they were kids in S1. Like the actors, literally, haven't filmed any scenes together _in years,_ despite being siblings on one of the biggest shows ever. Like, of course they've hung out and done promo together and stuff, but they've all been on their own crazy storylines with completely different schedules and locations! FOR YEARS! That symbolic reunion makes it so much more emotional for me. They were innocent kids last time 😭
It's as crazy an event as a Lannister being in a scene with Targaryen.

If you notice melisandre was never cold in the north but now that her faith has wavered, she is all covered up.
Apparently, in the books Aemon talks about how the fire from the lord of light has no heat. Wonder if in the books she was uncovered & "warm" at all.

The Dothraki only follow the strong. Daenerys just killed all the Khals and is fire proof, the Dothraki have never seen strength like that.
They're also a very superstitious people and Dany has just shown them great magic.
@@gunkulator1yeah, but they value Strength more over their disdain for magic. Also Essos is riddled with magical believers, so the Dothraki are probably more accepting than Westeros that’s for sure 😂

Sansa finally admitting she was mean to Jon when they were kids, and then sharing that horrid ale was such a precious moment.
Tormund is definitely curious about Briene, lol. He's definitely onboard with going after Ramsay, especially once he realized if Ramsay wins, the wildlings are next.

i love jon and theon, i love bran too, arya, dany, jorah, and the hound. the next episode you'll notice that a scene was shot all in 1 shot which is pretty awesome, also sometimes tyrion does make dumb choices.

In my mind, there are a couple of characters with arcs that surpass all the others. Jamie and Sansa both evolve over time, but Theon is the champion of character development. RIP Osha, way to go Dany, the Unburnt, the Mother of Dragons, the Breaker of Chains, etc, and apparently the patron saint of asbestos hair. Loved your reactions, as always! Peace …

Yeah, her hair is not fire proof.
In fact, fans are not even sure Dani herself is fireproof either, the first fire she survived was a one off that she pulled in under very special circumstances.
Some say her being able to do it at will was a choice from the showrunners.

@@generalmortars7557It's a choice that adds consistency. Hair that burns but not skin doesn't really make any more sense. Being fireproof only once is kind of a sloppy plot contrivance. There's no reason whatever incantations are needed could not have been said again. The Dosh Khaleen are shown in season 1 to be seers so it seems safe to assume they can conjure up whatever is needed. We have the dead khals to pay for Dany's life to satisfy the magical karma gods.

Yeah another 2 that are pretty well known is the actor that plays Mance Rayder being Dumbledore's brother and Professor Slughorn's actor being Archmaester Ebrose (the dude that trains the other maesters at the citadel in season 7).
The 2 big ones that not many know about is Aragog (the giant spider from HP) and Xenophilius Lovegood (Luna's father). The former was voiced by the same dude that plays Grand Maester Pycelle and the latter is played by the same guy that plays Otto Hightower in House of the Dragon.

Also, she shouldn't actually be fireproof, but the show writers ran out of ideas and decided to change the lore.

Martin did the same thing with Mellisandre's smoke baby assassins - the perfect unstoppable killers. There's just enough of them to push the plot past some tough points the author can't write around naturally but then they're taken away because reasons - other than Martin doesn't want Stannis to win.

This is one of my favorite seasons. When this episode first aired I cried when Sansa and Brienne and Pod pulled up. Finally a little bit of happiness! I enjoyed y'alls reactions to this episode. The next episode.......

Her hair burns off in the book (first book), but her immunity to fire is a one-off miracle related to the birth of the dragons there and not a permanent superpower as in the show.

Yes Benioff & Weiss got carried away with Dany doesn't burn with fire in the show! GRRM stated: It was only a one time miracle that she wasn't burned when she walked into the burning pier and the Dragon eggs were hatched. She has some tolerance to heat, but can be burned.
It is such a fresh breath of air to see u so happy at the end of an episode, lets hope nothing ruins that 🙂

So happy you guys are enjoying this season. It's my second favorite. I'm sure lots of people hate that, but what can I say? I saw the show first (started it at the penultimate episode of season 6, but then I had the long wait between seasons 6 & 7 then longer wait between 7&8. It gave me time to rewatch h the show though which was good since it had only 6 seasons at that point. You DEFINITELY benefit from a second watch!
Sansa tells Jon "we gave to go back and save them both". Winterfell AND Rickon. But later she will basically admit she knew all along that Ramsey would never let Rickon get away. She just says this now to manipulate Jon into doing what she wants.

Jon didn't get off his Night Watch oath on a technicality. There was no need to. They make their own rules and govern themselves. And he was Lord Commander and everyone still alive there was his friend

Seriously though, from just even basic studies done lower “eye que” populations are often due to starvation and lacking essential nutrients, especially for the brain, and especially at young ages. Studies show that even within a generation or two of having essential nutrients “eye ques” rise significantly
Robin should have been on proper solid foods far earlier than he was. Lack of brain fuel combined with loony toons mom was not a great mix. Best thing to happen to him probably was getting away from her.

It's surprising how many people misunderstand this. At the beginning of the season, we see The Sons of the Harpy burn all of Dany's ships. Without ships or dragons, Meereen is completely vulnerable to a sea bombardment. The Masters come to deal with Dany but seeing that she's not there after their assassination attempt, they understand their advantage. So Tyrion immediately starts making concessions to them, hoping to stall.
The most sensible explanation of Danny’s hair being fireproof (at least from a Production standpoint) is it’s less of a headache for continuity to have to deal with a bald cap + slow hair growth over time lmaooo
My “Lore” theory which is exclusive for the show is that Targaryen hair is fire-resistant due to the centuries of riding dragons and being close to fire all the time 😂

While it does burn off in the book, why would it if the rest of her magically is fireproof that once? The hair could've easily been kept magic too.

thinking about character development, this moment for Daario, watching Danny as more than a prety princess with dragons, but as a god, it changed nothing in his mind, and i think this should have had made him change drasticaly on his thinking and motivations to suport Danny, i liked the character but a lost oportunity for develop i think

I have watched every one of yalls vids on this series the past few days and I have to say you you guys are one of the best couples to watch on this show. Hate to sound harsh about some other channels, but, Bridget, thank you so much for not being an annoying female. I've seen some couples where I couldn't even continue watching cause the women were annoying and acting immature and like they couldn't handle a lil fake violence. You two are amazing to watch.
