I have the first volume i bought online and almost done with it. Learning by myself and guided by my husband when i have questions. May I ask, did you learn 中文 from this book series? How have you become so fluent? Or did you study formally?

To be honest I haven't used this book from the beginning of my 'journey'. I used the more popular 'Audio-Visual Practical Chinese' (新實用視聽華語) and then decided that it was a bit old, so I changed the textbook. And also I have been learning with a teacher, yes, so the teacher helps with the pronunciation and also corrects the grammar, so if you can, I definitely recommend finding a teacher, who is preferably a native speaker. Btw both of my teachers (I used to study with one, and now studying with another) are native speakers from Taiwan, both fluent in English.
I have seen that there are words in these textbooks that are different from the words used in China. Will it be a problem if I learn Chinese from this textbook and work in China in the future? I'm very looking forward to your answer to this question, as I really like this textbook, but I am afraid to study with it as I am focused on China. Thant you
Hello! Thank you for your comment. I think if you have firmly decided that you are going to work in China, it is better to choose a textbook from China instead. There won't be many problems, you will learn the common language, just with traditional characters, slightly different pronunciation and some specific words (especially when it comes to things that function differently in Taiwan and China, like Internet), but in general you will have no problems in communicating with people from anywhere as long as they speak standard Mandarin. However if you want to blend in the environment and speak as naturally as possible, then I would recommend you find a textbook from the area you are going to use the language in the future. Are there major differences between RPC chinese language and Taiwanese chinese language? This series is from National Taiwan Normal University, is it for Taiwanese chinese language?
After living and working in both Beijing and Taipei I would say there are no major differences. I've decided to go with this series simply because I truly prefer the way Taiwanese speak Chinese (kind of softer, cuter, and in my personal opinion, politer) but also because I am planning to move back to Taipei and I really want to sound like a local.
Anyways, just totally depends on your situation. If you don't know, then maybe stick with mainland Chinese, there are far more resources from mainland.
Видео классное. Я как раз хочу учить китайский именно по этим учебникам. Просто китайские учебники (почти все) отдают каким-то "совковым" душком. А эти тайваньские учебники просто супер). Но вот скажите мне, пожалуйста, При ориентации на Китай, не будет ли у меня проблем в коммуникации с китайцами (как у переводчика) если я выучу язык по этим учебникам? - это самый важный вопрос. Все же, если Вы полностью ориентируетесь на Китай (планируете там работать, особенно переводчиком), то лучше все-таки учиться по китайским учебникам, я считаю. Я учу китайский для удовольствия и общения, поэтому я выучил самые обиходные эквиваленты слов, которые они используют, а сам использую тайваньские варианты (вроде 🇹🇼 影片 вместо 🇨🇳 視頻 и тд), поэтому тут надо смотреть на то, насколько тесно Вам потом с китайцами из Китая работать.

@@alinguae Ещё вопрос: Вы что-то слышали о подкасте ChineseClass101? (Если нет-могу показать Вам пример).Мне китайцы советуют по ним учиться по ним. Но единственный минус - 500 оооочень коротких и маленьких уроков. Не могу так. Я привык к большим, компактным урокам, а там диалог из 4-х строк и 5-10 слов к уроку.....

Скажите пожалуйста, вот Вы учили китайский по этим учебникам. Есть ли у Вас сейчас проблемы с пониманием китайцев с Китая? Ну, то есть, вы понимаете материковых китайцев без проблем?... Как сильно отличается китайский этого учебника от китайского в Китае? Просто думаю себе приобрести)
Здравствуйте! Язык абсолютно тот же, только иероглифы традиционные и некоторая лексика отличается, но а в целом язык одинаковый.
