    Here me out if we do get a sequel: Class is 1A is older. Defeated All for one but in the wake a child was watching. Realizing the mass amount of destruction that was being caused by those with quirks. They are quirkless. They decide to rid the world of all people's quirk. They are None for All (lol sorry the pun was too easy).

    I might like a show that follows Kota or Eri, or both of them, on their own journey's becoming heroes. Idk, I just think it would be cool to see Deku as the number 1 hero in his prime.

    • @chrono-glitchwaterlily8776
      @chrono-glitchwaterlily8776 Před 3 lety +2

      I wouldn't like either rof them becoming heroes.
      1) Kota's quirk isn't really helpful. He can't control water and it's still low pressure (even at high pressure, villains would be way too powerful for him to stop)
      2) His parents. Despite his growing acceptance of heroes, it does not take away what happened. He's like Kotaro in a sense. "Heroes only live to hurt those they know for complete strangers" He might honor his parents by doing so, but he wouldn't hurt his inevitable friends the same way his parents have hurt him. (Because Mandalay and the Wild Wild Pussycats might have a chance of dying in the series with the way the manga is rn) Even if Mandalay doesn't die, becoming a hero meant living everyday with the fear of losing someone all over again. He's already extremely dependent on Mandalay and the Pussycats. I can imagine him willingly becoming friends with someone who'd live a short life. (Deku is an exception cuz he saved his life)
      3) Similar to Kota, Eri does not have a combative quirk and even if she learns to control it, it's not particularly helpful to her. Her horn shrinks when used. She used it on Deku then she can't use her quirk anymore. She healed Mirio afterwards and it'll prolly take a month before she can heal anyone else.
      4) She has way too much trauma from being dissected, deatomized, and recreated over and over again all her life. Even if she gets over that, it'll stay with her. She seems to have a fascination with becoming a normal kid or a normal citizen of society. I can see her becoming a healer, but I'd imagine healers being extremely in demand in that universe and she'd get pushed way too far. Being a healer isn't safe for her as well being targeted by both heroes and villains. Again, she seems to want to be a normal kid. Why would she put herself out there
      5) You forgot one of the kids that actually wants to be a hero. Katsuma. Though his quirk seems weak, he seems to be able to content with being a combat medic rather than an actual hero, seeing as I can't see him actually fighting Villains. Then again, we have Deku

      @isanom5919 Před 3 lety +7

      I agree with you. Although think of this. Think how many transition one character to another to have all be meeting with each other every now & then. Even the stress of the scripts are going to be. I understand what you’re pointing out of each character that goes to state to state, city to city, one region to another. But think of that stress that’ll be put on. Where would the story end? It’s like One Piece. I’m not comparing two anime’s. I’m saying it’ll be like a controversial and convoluted story. Sure more action/drama & drama an of course romance will be involve. But MHA isn’t all about that. As much as I would look forward to see this continuing in the future just like Naruto-Boruto & Dragon ball Z. it’ll be nice to see that I can imagine and everything how this would go on. Although everything needs to come to a end. MHA isn’t done just yet it’ll have the next 2-4 years of production & manga series til it is concluded. Who knows perhaps there’ll be a new ARK to the series.

    With how raging popular it is, it is inevitable.
    Though I would much prefer if it were something like....a 3 episode/chapter wrap up at the very end of the series. Showing you where all the major (surviving) players are now, the state of #1 Deku, and a bit of info about the next gen/ the current gens families. And then end it.
    So like not the 5 mins that some others give, but not drawing it out unnecessarily.

    It is easy to get rid of quirk singularity just make it to where no ones quirk can be evolved further genetically so for example todoroki is mixed so if he had kids with someone else with a quirk the “child” can only have todorokis EXACT quirk or his moms ice quirk or his dads fire quirk kinda like eye color and vice versa for the baby mom he could just say that some quirks aren’t compatible to be mixed. It’s a simple and easy fix to quirk singularity so like if Tenya Iida and Momo Y. had a kid their powers would be either tenyas or momos because a mixture would be too broken or wouldn’t make sense. Maybe hawks and momos kids could keep the concept or change the concept and follow the same rules. Like the kids could create wings unlimitedly and still have control like hawks that would make a super great rescue hero and a fighting hero!

    If a sequel has to happen i hope it's slice of life, deku dealing with his profession and family as everyone else in their new roles, it doesn't need another big villain like in naruto, some people just really enjoy the wholesome mid content of boruto where naruto gets to be a dad and how boruto feels neglected for the job of his father which is natural and very real.

    I think the whole idea of a "Next Generation" Sequel is best left for fanfics.
    One I thought of for a fic was that, despite everything turning up great in the end with the hero system being reformed and villainy being the lowest ever to the point of near extinction like the manga seems to indicate how it'll end, there was one person, one villain that just couldn't let go of the past, the one who got away, and the one who seeks to do what Overhaul couldn't and that was put an end to Quirks once and for all. A villain that would require not just the heroes of old, but the heroes of the next generation to take down once and for all.

    Okay I actually have a fairly good theroy on how quirks were made or born so if you have see the anime or the manga in the first ep and manga chapter Deku says something like "one day a baby was born glowing and the quirks started appearing across the world" so what if one or both of the parents of that glowing child were normal children or people who were either born in a laboratory by a women giving and egg and a man giving a sperm and scientists then added animal DNA or something else in there the other way people volunteered. Scientists then kept these people in the lab and trained them as possible weapons to be sold at a possible auction but the people/children with what are now know as quirks escaped and lived life without using there abilities only using them if truely needed they then found possible partners across the globe and that's how I think quirks were born. ~GFC

    I have a theory:
    What if when Nighteye said Izuku would die during the overhaul arc was when Izuku became the ultimate hero? What if him surviving changed everything?
    Like if deku had died he would have been celebrated as a hero,Then AFO would not need a successor because there is no OFA,also shigaraki might have ended up being killed or serving Overhaul,AFO would be in prison, doctor Ujiko would work for Overhaul, then he would end replicating the quirk-ending bullet and there would be practically no quirk left because the shie hisaikai would spread the bullets and there would be a purge of quirks where villains shot heroes and others villains, citizens would arm them selves but since quirks are genetic and can be passed either the human body would eliminate the ability to have quirks or it would continue forever eventually becoming a ritual to purge kids with quirks like how witches were burnt in salem but with quirk

    "Where quirks come from" has already been covered in the series, albeit briefly. There was a brief mention in some of the first episodes that people with quirks are commonly missing a joint in their pinky-toe, while quirkless people commonly have it. I don't remember which episode, but I think it was mentioned that it was theorized that quirks were the next stage of evolution for the Human race.
    Note: I don't understand why there would be so many different types of quirks in this instance, but I'd imagine it's similar to the genetics of different skin colors. In areas with less sunlight, people tend to have lighter skin. However the closer you get to the equator, the more people have darker skin. This is a result of the skin's production of melanin. It's commonly seen that people with albinism don't have melanin due to a malfunction in this particular Genetic sequence. As for why the pinky toe joint is missing, consider that unlike our ape-like ancestors, humans walk upright. When you think about it how often do we really use that particular joint in our pinky toe? Not terribly often.

    As someone who loves the Vigilantes spin-off, I think the coolest way they could do a sequel is like so: Deku & co. are all in their roles as pro-heroes, but they aren't the main characters (and they're still pretty young, not adults like in Boruto's dad's son). Instead, we focus on a new cast of characters, similar to Vigilantes, who are living in the wake of the main series's conclusion (with the specifics of who they are or what they're doing of course depending on how the series ends).

  • @blzz42
    @blzz42 Před 3 lety +1

    We need an anime adaptation of vigilantes, that would be so dope to see Koichi and the crew in anime format.
    I honestly believe that this series, and the my hero universe in general has so much potential. Just like the Marvel and DC universes, we could see things in a much broader expansion of the story, with new characters, new world building elements, new villains, etc...
    For example, I think it would be interesting, and is highly probable, that they do a time skip, before the big fight between Deku and AFO concludes. If this occurs we will actually witness the young adult versions of all our favorite characters, their development, potential relationships, etc...
    Honestly, I see Deku slowly evolving into a Bat Man type character. In the recent manga chapters, he uses his various quirks like tools. Kinda like Batman’s tool belt, he has to use his head more to strategize and be creative in how he utilizes his abilities. In this aspect, it would be interesting to see Shigaraki becoming a Joker-esque type villain, in regards to his strong ideology that opposes everything All Might stood for. AFO is the main villain in the story but I think he will eventually be defeated, and Shigaraki will take up the role himself. The next generation basically will overshadow the previous one with all might and AFO. Recently in the manga, Deku has to grapple with how to deal with Shigaraki. He states that he will save him even though he is technically the enemy and a villain. If Shigaraki is released from the control of AFO, he will still be driven by his strong ideology. As Deku takes up the mantle from all might, and represents those values which Shigaraki opposes so much, they will become two sides of a coin… just like how the Joker basically represented the opposite of everything Batman stood for. Shigaraki will be chased by Deku who will keep trying to save him but never succeeding, as Shigaraki will continue to act like a villain. I know Horikoshi has taken a lot of inspiration from American comics and I think this polar opposite relationship between Deku and Shigaraki perfectly resembles the relationship between Batman and the Joker.. and already I can see many synchronicities between the characters.
    Horikoshi could also take the comic book route and create a my hero version of the justice league. We could be introduced to new heroes from outside of Japan. The idea is that the threat that AFO posed will be acknowledged by the global community. I mean AFO could have become a global threat, as his power could have led to a global villain syndicate. Who guarantees that a similar situation won’t pop up in the future? In general, this could lead to the governments of the world advocating for a global organization like the United Nations/Justice League… the story would shift more to the other hero’s and their unique abilities, traveling to different countries and preventing terrorist activities. Horikoshi has so much potential with this story and he could take it in so many different directions. it would be a shame if he just ended it without exploring all the opportunities of this world. There is so much world building left to be explored, and so much that can be done to keep the world alive.
    If Shigaraki survives, I believe he will remain a villain motivated by his strong ideology. This means the league of villains could be recreated and could expand to the villains from other nations as well. This would be further motivation for a justice leageu type organization to be created.
    I honestly think that Horikoshi is trolling us by saying my hero academia is at its “end”… think about it, Deku has left the Academy… which means the academia part of my hero academia is now coming to a close, but the my hero story as a whole will not end. I think it will become a more expansive story and we will see more world building and new characters. It’s too much of a cash cow for them to just end it.

    i honestly don't want a sequel. i have high hopes that when bnha ends, it going to be a good ending that will conclude with a clear ending. So i don't think there should be a sequel where there's the kids or the descendants, it just never end wells from there, take for example Boruto. However, if there is still more information about BNHA that never had a chance to make it in, I would appreciate a spin off that just complies all the information, or even better, horikoshi just makes an entire book that goes into every single world building detail that couldn't make it into the series.
    I just don't want to see another great series being hit with a shitty sequel that can't live up to the hype of the original. I too like to let go of a series when it's time for the end and the end is good. I like to appreciate the work for what it was, not get a shitty sequel bc fans refused to let the art go. If there is a sequel series, go for the current cast as proper heroes personally reconstructing the society following AFO’s fall. Take the Gurren Lagaan route. Various different roles for the characters. They’ve all been building to take different roles of function based on what they know of society, so to see them further the path as full grown adults would be the best route. (Just VERY carefully done)
    And we’ve seen that just because someone is less of a threat doesn’t make them different in function. Overhaul was undoubtedly less threatening than AFO. But his conditions were used so well it still blew us out of the water. And just because AFO will die or cave (definitely die for original AFO and a decent chance of death for Shigaraki) will not mean that there won’t be those trying to recreate or pick up remnants of the damage he caused. And there may be environments even more torn apart than what AFO causes simply because no one could rule. Straight chaos. There’s still plenty of options. You just have to be very, VERY careful.

    My running theory is that defeating All for One and saving Shigaraki will be the end of My Hero Academia, and after will be a time skip like in naruto but it'll just be My Hero and it'll focus exclusively on the quirk singularity, and bigger and bigger villains that only One for All can handle being threats to society, and it'll end with Eri's quirk being used to fulfill Overhaul's plan, but more humanely. I think we see Stain help against AfO, and Overhaul help save society from quirks. That's just my idea. I think it'd be cool to see the OG series focus on All for One vs One for All, and the sequel series, end the series with humanity returning to normal thanks to Deku who did end up saving everyone like he always dreamed.
    My thought would be you'd end MHA with Deku defeating AfO and time skip it to their graduation, to end with the idea of them reaching their goals, and the sequel series would take place with Deku starting his own Agency and fighting crime, the newly created rules for heroes lead to peace and over time there are just more and more overpowered quirks and villains, but also problems in society that Deku can't punch away, things that are fundamental flaws of a mutated super society. I'd really lean into the idea that almost every problem is created by quirks in some capacity, and the end is them giving up their powers for peace.
    That's kind of the only story I could see them telling that feels like it's a different closing point to the story of My Hero and My Hero Academia. I'd enjoy to see our fan favorites in society as real heroes since that's what the entire show is working towards, getting to see Deku become the world's greatest hero, and give it a wrapping point that truly feels finished. There's maybe a story to be told after MHA but a story that makes everyone give up their quirks, means there would be a finality to it that I don't think many shonen get. Personally I'd like that.

    EVERYONE I WANT TO HAVE ALL OF YOUR ATTENTIONS!
    THIS IS MY OPINION!
    I’ve read some comments about Deku being final successor and everything else that has to do with the series. But just like Naruto we all expected that anime series would end any conclusion of seeing his family and kids how they go about their lives. And then suddenly we get a different ARC The new series of Naruto but it ain’t it’s not. It’s boruto’s story now. We can/cant all expect a new Ark from MHA but there is potential and opportunity that might be taken although yes Deku is confirmed that he is the last user. But there’s nothing that says will he be passing it on to another user. Therefore what I’m speculating is that will he be having kids? Will he be married? Will it be seeing him graduating and having his own company? Will will be seeing the future of MHA?? We don’t know and who knows? We might or we might not. It’s just a matter of time until it’s fully revealed. Maybe will get the last movie of the ark of the series to see Deku and his Wife and possibly kids?
    But it’s just the mere speculation of my opinion as much as it sounds negative and other opinions with it that comes to you my own opinion.
    It will be nice to see if there would be a next arc.
    But who knows maybe we’ll see when it comes. all we can hope is for MHA to have a continuation of another decade for it to be continued well maybe not a decade. But at least for the next 5 to 8 years of looking forward to this anime.

    What if the end of MHA ends with Shigarki's death (or the original body of AFO), which leads to another sequel with AFO being the final boss. Since we have two, we don't have to lose both, only one.

    imo i want to see the series following one for all, like a prequel showing the journey of each wielder.

    In MHA: Two Heroes, the American villain Wolfram refers to AFO as "The Man Himself", implying that villains around the world all know his name. The story could end with Shiggy being saved/defeated, but AFO retreats back into the shadows. To further raise the stakes, the PLF can expand into a global terrorist organization and start attacking major cities around the world while all of Class 1A/1B are now pro heroes, or they can also expand on the World Hero Agency.

    Honestly, the story should end when All For One is done since he is the root of villain activities, a next generation would just be milking a cow but instead of milk, the blood comes out and the cow dies. A story of growth of the main cast is pretty appealing , but a next generation would just be an unwanted guest who could potentially ruin the party.
