Context:
After some thinking, Jake decided to ask Drew through text if he could come over and help him out. Jake hesitated to send the message after remembering the time he yelled at his friends. His frown turned into a smile when he looked over his phone to see a positive reply from Drew. Moments later, Drew arrives and knocks on his door. Jake let’s him in and greets him before they both settle down. Silence filled the room as both the boys looked at different directions, avoiding eye contact. Drew speaks first but was interrupted by Jake who suddenly had a meltdown. Jake cried out to Drew, apologizing for his mistake and was afraid he would lose Drew and the others. Drew hugs him, comforting his crying friend. Jake accepts the hug and continues to cry into Drew’s arms.
