The funniest part is that the warlock game where he missed lethal was actually the first game he played with that deck, so chat kept reminding him that he missed lethal on the first game and because of it he was suffering for the next 10 games or so lol
at least it wasnt at blizzcon

Now, however? Now I pray daily to the pantheon of luck. It's currently only at two members (RNGesus and good ol' Yog), but I have faith that it will grow eventually

I love how much of a niche you've found in this community. I couldn't be bothered to play HS these days, and this is the only gameplay video I have found myself watching in a long time. Love seeing the old decks. Have you done the same thing with every class's BEST decks? This is definitely cooler though, so many fun cards that never really got to shine.
This was fun but I wish you had a bit more of an explanation on each deck for people who aren't familiar with all of HS's history.
Just commenting to let Rarran know that his constant sacrifice will always be appreciated because no one else is making hearthstone content like this anymore we love you

Watching this live was 8min of hilarious for each deck when it first started, then 30min of sadness and depression
Aside from Priest, Freeze Shaman was my favourite deck in Hearthstone. Playing it as a super control deck and getting value off of my crafted Golden Moorabi was a highlight. Glad I quit the game though.
I'm pretty sure Elise was there to add another card to your deck to make sure your opponent decks out before you do! XD

freeze shaman really brought back some nostalgia. the first legendary i unpacked during frozen throne was moorabi. since i had most of the cards and being f2p i desperately tried to make freeze shaman work. thank you rarran for reminding me of how terrible freeze shaman is

You know, I played throughout Grand Tournament. I don't think I got to see Druid of the Fang transform once.
Your explanation of the Rogue deck doesn't make any sense. You can't get more than one Golden Monkey- once you play it, everything is transformed, removing all of your Gang Up's, Steps, and other cards. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to just be played as a Mill Rogue deck.

i only know this because of the all-golden deck and the bugged scythe interaction for whizbang which has been broken for 3 months and was never fixed
whats even funnier is they did try to fix it because it used to not even do the start of game animation but now it does but it still doesnt turn the 3 minions into the spirit cards

No way GvG Fatigue Warrior is the worst Warrior deck. The basic and classic warrior cards have carried control for years. Bad warrior deck should have been one that focuses on midrange or tempo.

Came for freeze shaman, stayed to watch him suffer with what is basically a generic version of mill rogue. As a former mill rogue player, he just doesn't know how to pilot that jank deck. At least a few of those matches were totally winnable.
I think you could have tried to adapt wild pyro with poisonous on the first paladin match

Right, but the version you speak of is specifically not the one in the video. This was in terms of winrate, over Hearthstone's history - so, the version of Beast Druid you see in the video, _with_ the snake, is (allegedly, I haven't checked myself, this was a job done by a Rarran mod or friend I think?) the worst winrate Druid deck, as pushed by Blizzard so actually an "official" archetype, in Hearthstone history. That *version* of this deck archetype was the worst one.

That hunter deck was the last straw for me and was the reason I quit hearthstone didn't know it was the worst deck in the class history makes sense though lol
Good for you u quit, cuz that expansion bring patches the pirate and pirate warrior with turn 4 kills every game. That hunter deck couldn't even play because they were dead by turn 4
