GWEN CHERRY PARK BULLS HOMECOMING - WAKANDA FOREVER 2023

On the evening of Friday, September 15th and all-day Saturday September 16, the Gwen Cherry Bulls celebrated Homecoming. This year’s Homecoming celebrated the Africa diaspora with Caribbean culture, Africa dress and African American food, fun and football. The children enjoyed mechanical bull riding, face painting, bounce houses, and slides. Food included conch salad, conch fritters, scorched conch, barbecue, hot dogs, hamburgers and more. The highlight of the Homecoming Activities was the Junkanoo Band that got everyone up on their feet dancing to the music and parading in the Junkanoo line.
