Great job, Stu! 95.7K followers you’re so close to the CZcams 100K mark! I think you’ll be there in less than a month!
Thanks! My CZcams studio has be at 95.3, but I’ll take your number 😄
Who knew you could walk from A to D or from B minor to E7? Thanks for being my teacher!
Very cool Stu, short and sweet!
Another great lesson. Can’t wait to add a little more soul to my blues. Lots to take in in this lesson
Thanks very much! A appreciate you watching and joining in Karl 🤙🎶😊 Wishing you and your family well
It's so easy to learn with you. Unbelievable! But my thumb was not used to that and feels really sore by now. Not even milking grease could help.
thanks to your expert guidance i have picked these up pretty quickly . i appreciate all your videos.
You are the best. Thanks Stu🤗
You are! Thanks for watching & joining in :-)
Very cool ! Thanks a lot !

Wow so amazing with a little embellishment!!! Whoohoo 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Excellent series of 4 video lessons going from basics including singing through to very tuneful whole. Challenging in some parts, easier in others. Exactly what I need and immensely satisfying as I continue on the journey. Thanks Stu, more like this please
This is fantastic Stu! Can’t wait to try it. You are my favorite!
Thanks! Enjoy jamming on these licks!
So much fun. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, Stu. I have written a song in A so this is what I need to learn!!!! It's just a I, VI, v7 chord progression. But I live that song that you played!!!
Love to you and family!!!!
Miss you ❤️❤️🎵🎵
That's great to hear about your song Mia! These little double stops are really sweet 😊 Miss you too! Maybe someday when the little guy's more grown I'll get back out there ❤️🎶

Paul McCartney was so down and dirty and And screaming when he was singing this oh darling If you listen To the good recording of it
Oh yes, Paul really belts out some soulful vocals on this one! I sing it low because I don't want to hurt your eaas ;-)
One correction Stu... Otis Redding and Sam and Dave weren't Motown artists, they were Stax artists and the soulful guitar work was the product of Steve Cropper. Thought you might want to know. Otherwise, this is a great lesson. Love your tutorials!!
Thanks for that! My sentence structure makes it sound like I was calling them Motown artists ;-)
The very last lick you do do you have the tabs or can you break it down for me
Had a question - when playing just 2 strings, such as in the first bar, do you pinch the strings with 2 fingers or use just one or just the thumb? I thought you said you can do either but I was unsure exactly what the strumming hand is doing. Thanks!
Hi Denise, either way will work... I recommend you play in the way that feels most natural to you. I use both ways depending on the way the wind blows 😉 PRO TIP: If using the thumb (or a pick) aim for the string closest to the floor. This way, the one on top will be played automatically & there is the feeling that you're just playing ONE string instead of two. Play on, Stu
Hey ! I like your Shouji Screens there. I'm curious, are you stuck in a 1LDK apartment also in Japan ? LOL
I wish! 😆
@@UkuleleZen Well, actually a lot of people are trying to get a visa to start a business here. Maybe you can get one. Forgot what it is called off hand, but maybe something to do in the "Arts". I didn't know the ukulele is so popular here. I'm new and bought a "Famous " brand. Its one of Japans top makers of ukuleles. Check them out on Japan Amazon. Hmm... I got to see if I'm on your mailing list. Yikes!
Anyone gota low G uke goin cheap ?
I’m sitting here smiling wondering if my 71 year old hands will do this!
Thanks for watching Nickie…just that first one on A maj is enough to spice up the song 😊🤙🎶
Join the club.
Of course you can. Just start slow
Low G ?
That’s my usual tuning however these licks can work with both 🤙
I hates Stew He makes everything look and sounds so good and easy And then you play it on your ukulele And it doesn't sound nothing like when he plays it
Don't judge your playing by how it sounds, rather by how it makes you FEEL. I've been playing music since I was a little boy...just keep on showing up and play with focus everyday and things will follow their course ;-)
