I am going to do a remaster of this album soon for the sake of experimenting. I definitely pushed these tracks hard but I tried to keep as much dynamics as possible.
I also gotta give credit where it’s due. Nicholas from “Panorama Mastering” runs an amazing youtube channel and I implemented one of his techniques while mastering this project.

    Very interesting mate!
Can you explain what you’re doing here in a nutshell?
Expanding the signal, preventing clipping and increasing clarity of each signal within its respective frequency range?
And what’s the category of tools and what’s the order of use?

@@aussiejujufirst in RX audio editor im looking to see what the true peak of the signal is and how much I can soft clip before It gets to the “body” of the waveform. Thats where I go back into studio one, use standard clip, and set the parameters in the plugin. It’s basically making the low parts louder while controlling the peaks. I dont always do this but I did for these 3 tracks.
My chain for these 3 songs was pretty similar. Soft clip with Standard Clip > light EQ > Deesse > then go out of the box and use the Neve portico > then capture with my mastering AD converter
