Adam's passion and knowledge are unmatched. What a legend
I have to admit Adam is one of (if not the most) knowledgeable people when it comes down to the genre and style. Hands down. Awesome video and wonderful playing!
We couldn't agree more!
Great work Adam, bet you enjoyed playing them!
What an awesome video! Such an interesting look into this type of guitar! And you picked the most handsome and knowledgeable GV guy to do it!
They all sounded great. Thanks for sharing this with us. Best wishes 😊😊👍👍👍👍
Watched this as I was researching Nationals. Since ordered a T-14 through Guitar Village. Had no idea the guy in the video was the guy I spoke to on the phone, great guy
Nice one Adam. Enjoyed my visit to Guitar Village yesterday - you didn't say this video was in the pipeline.
I had a National Reso-Phonic type N, serial number 18 from 2000 until about 2008-10. A beautiful guitar. I wish that I’d had one of the weathered ones. A fan of resonators since seeing Son House and Bukka White back in the sixties during a tour of the U.K. and Europe.
Great video. So the first one you played was a raw series you said but did it have a name like raw series nr456 or something or just plain ol raw series if I wanted to buy one. Thank you.
Strings sounds too light for a resonator
Standard strings straight from national guitars!
@@GuitarVillageFarnham Surprised. At 12:30 slide up to the 5th definitely sounds too light. Most of demo is fingerpicking and lighter strings better for that not sure if they'd last long on a Resonator guy using them like Son House/Michael Messer, etc. If that's what National is putting on them, cool. Sound like to me for a Reso. Guess I'm much too tight tonight !! czcams.com/video/J7sMV3ZUVB8/video.html
czcams.com/video/F634O747bOw/video.html Assume these Nationals pre-date the guitar versions as Hawaiian popular before guitar.
