coop speedruns are always cool because of the different moving parts coming together but man i did not expect a gba kirby game of all things to have multiplayer where everyone can do different things in different levels. like i was fully expecting it to be 3 players on one screen sorta like the nsmb series coop but this is rad

Very interesting to hear that 3-player any% is likely slower than 4-player, but I bet that changes for 100%. Here's rooting for someday getting a 100% 4P run, the dream run, into a GDQ! Let GDQ know the viewers would love to see that!

I was always very curious about how Amazing Mirror multiplayer worked, since I never had more than one cartridge of the game myself. I had no idea how laggy it is to play in practice lol. Thanks for showcasing this underappreciated mode of the game!

The multiplayer co op was high level until they all got together in the end, which them devolved into a mess lol. Bingus of course saved the day!
Just curious, why didn't they play this on the Switch version?
To my understanding, the Switch version has a bit more lag to its name. And that's putting it lightly. On top of that, it'd require using the internet to connect all of the Switches, unless local wireless is an option. But using the Game Boy Player with a link cable is more sensible for all three runners being in-person since GDQ has the equipment in the first place if needed.
This is tough game to pay attention to... four screens? I like the layout though at least. Could be worse.
You should see some of the archipelago runs Hotfix has done… 2-5(?) different games with all items randomized between all of them. Sometimes with the same person swapping between two different games.
