Lord of The Rings Reveal FAILS - Fake Superfan Review Hidden By Amazon - Rings of Power

- Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power had a review by superfans for Amazon Prime Video, although all was not as it seems. A special "influencer" event isn't exactly an unbiased situation for a review or one without a conflict of interest. So let's find out their opinions about The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power teaser trailer, and exactly why Amazon unlisted this LotR video.

The Superfans have spoken and they LOVE it. All it took was a visit to a castle, what do you think? Let me know below, and thank you for watching :)
Yep, no conflict of interest whatsoever.
Amazon borrowed some paid actors from twitch to film this.
It looked more like activists talking about things important to them. Finding such people took them probably like 5 min. including phone calls to them. There are no different opinions, just all pissing their pants from happiness at each subject brought to them about that teaser. I think somebody who came up with this idea, did it without agreement from their bosses, or they are just that stupid.
Do u have the link to this too sir? I lbe been looking too but it's hard to find it
Seem like some Amazon employees getting their 20 min toilet breaks this year.
I would like to see their comment on the criticisms of many fans toward the trailer now. Would be fun seeing what they would say
I can't wait to see the 7 billion new chars Amazon will create to represent every person on this planet because everyone mindsets and preferences are different
Like if there's no male Hobbit that is exactly 1m73 that love video games and anime, I wouldn't feel represented and proceed to cry my eyes out :v
As a disabled woman I saw myself in Eowyn´struggle when I first read Lord of the Rings, as a 14 year old wheelchair user I could understand what it felt like being overlooked and not being seen for who she really was. i did not need Eowyn to chop off her legs and get a wooden wheelchair for that to happen. People like these influencers really depress me🙄.
My aunt never let it stop her and she works at a bank for decades now. She has dwarfism for the lack of a better term to the extent it bound her to a weelchair were in her younger years she could still get around on crotches and many many hosptial visits and operations continuesly throughout her live. The doctors said she wouldn't live much past 20 but she recently celebrated her 50th birthday and she is in a relationship with a childhood friend. And she has one of those helper dogs.
It's generally thought of to put yourself in the place of someone else, or to relate to someone else as just a standard part of being human, basic human empathy. But for some reason many people no longer seem to have that, if the person before them doesn't meet the exact criteria they have chosen to deem most important for themselves, they are unable to feel anything.
@@corneliusantonius3108 that sounds like on tough lady, a true shieldmaiden. ❤️
@@disparutoo That is so true!
When I was a kid, I got inspired to become an engineer because of Geordie LaForge. I'm not blind, or black, and I don't need to be to understand or identify with the character. We had similar personalities and similar personal issues (mainly social awkwardness). I saw him doing cool science shit and it made me want to do cool science shit. I viewed him as an aspirational image because he overcame his problems to chase something that interested him. I don't get the people who need their fictional characters to exactly match their surface level demographic information. I've never watched something and gone "There's the tall, straight, mentally ill white guy. He's just like meeeeeeeeee!" because matching demographic information doesn't guarantee someone will be anything like me.
Some great comment I read earlier:
"When you’re so concerned with seeing yourself in everything, you’re not a fan of anything other than yourself".
So on point.
Haha that's a great little quote yes.
Yup they're just all super narcissistic
Precisely. Whomever said this was right on point, and expressed in an exquisite pithiness.
It's self-worship on steroids.
Very accurate and on point!
The more they try to attack the Tolkien fanbase or to convince us that we're stupid the worse it gets for them.
they're like the orcs at the black gates and the fandom is like the people that went with aragorn (tolkien) to distract sauron and buy enough time for frodo and sam to finish their mission....these people may rant and call us racist but they'll never break us because in the end evil always fails
Lmao it’s brilliant

I love how the girl with the missing eye didn't "see her disability" represented, when the Two towers is possibly the most plain showing of a person missing an eye ever.
Can't wait to see those clips of Sauron saying "yo"
Unfortunately I wouldn't consider myself young, and the god powers seem to have been misplaced too.
That was an insult to Tolkien.
Sauron will be white, guaranteed.
Hell, if they portrayed Sauron as a drug dealer and wannabe rapper...I may actually watch this...

“Evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt our dangly bits.” - Disparu.
lmao you got me with this one I thought you had posted the original quote.
Had me in the first half, not gonna lie. What a twist! 😄
It began with the forging of the great films. Right were given to Peter Jackson. Immortal, wisest, and fairest of all beings. But we were all deceived, for another show was made. In the land of Amazon, in the fires of Mount Schlock, the dark lord Bezos forged in secret a TV series. And into this series he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One series to ruin them all.
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣👍
Lol
🤣🤣
This was excellent, thank you.
Underrated comment...needs more upvotes! 🤣
"Potentially the books as well"? So these Superfans will potentially love the books? Yeah, not sure it works that way.
"We made a promise to ourselves at the beginning of the process that we weren't going to put any of our own politics, our own messages or our own themes into these movies. ... In a way, we were trying to make these films for him, not for ourselves." - Peter Jackson
I don't look like anyone in LOTR, but I didn't relate with them because of their skin tone. I related to them because of what they went through, what they believed, what they learned and overcame. And as a female, I relate more with every male member of the Fellowship than I do any "strong female" characters Hollywood has produced in recent years. So superficial. Title should've said "Fake Fans" instead of "Superfans" lmfao
Agree! "strong female characters" they make tend to be the same unrelatable angergirls all over again. I think that is so toxic to not value feminine aspects as a strenght. As a female too, I didn't feel need to see me in Lotr movies to enjoy them. I could relate to characters feelings and decicions deeply. Needing to see "myself" in every media just sounds so selfcentered.
I agree! I identify so much with the feelings, struggles, the courage of the fellowship (specifically the hobbits). But what I don't get about these "strong female" characters is that they are always "ice queens" , rude, and independent, never vulnerable... And they are toxic too, it's horrible. I would also absolutely HATE if they made Galadriel into this type of character, because one of the things I love the most about her is how she uses her power and Nenya to protect Lorien, to nurture people (she learns how to make Lembas) And this nurturing, protective quality is something I have seen in so many women, and to me is a very feminine type strength. Much stronger than some version of her that is "as angry and brash as she is clever".. -.-
As it turned out, Amazon fired Thomas Alan Shippey. English professor of literature, philology and writer. He worked and taught at Oxford, Leeds and St. Louis Universities, where he studied medieval literature, science fiction and fantasy. He is one of the most authoritative researchers of Tolkien's work on the planet. Mariana Rios Maldonado was chosen to take his place as Tolkien's "chief consultant". Not at all a specialist in Tolkien's work, but a student at the University of Glasgow where she writes a doctoral thesis on "Ethics, Femininity and other issues in the stories of J.R.R. Middle-earth". Tolkien". She also serves as overseer of the Diversity and Equality student committee. She publicly states that she considers Tolkien's works "problematic", that they glorify racial inequality, sexism and chauvinism. And his works are loved by people adhering to neo-fascist views. She considers herself morally and intellectually superior to Tolkien, and therefore works tirelessly to turn the Myths of Arda into a modern, adapted and corrected version that will appeal to everyone.
Thanks for the info.
Yeah, his replacement blocked me on Twitter for citing basic Tolkien lore...
Appearently the guy was just doing his job but producers' intentions were not keeping the quality of the content nor respecting it. The girl replacing him is not more than a ''modern'' puppet. Feminists, social justice warriors and lgbt lodge are now attacking the most valuable piece of art in the fantasy genre. They just don't know it will bring a global awareness about how they are ruining everything.
Whatttttt!!!! This is it right here the reason for this whole f’up
Crikey. Does that make this panel of 'superfans', 'super neo-facists' too then? You have to be a superfan of the work prior to this SJW tainted stuff right?
If that video was supposed to encourage one to watch the series, then it did a great job of making sure I will avoid Amazon's pathetic show.
And by the way, I did not see myself represented by any of the four 'Superfans' so that makes me double down on not watching a show that's clearly not intended for me!
😂😂 great comment!
@5 Star GM they're always pushing their woke views, but still contain people like Weinstein who rape and abuse people. They are the worse kinds of people.
what audience is this show for? The first "superfan" the video showed talking is a flaming gay man whose first comment is diversity.
You'd think "superfans" would see and appreciate the diversity the world of Middle-Earth already has. The races of Men, Dwarves, Elves, Hobbits and more are already immensely different and that's not even considering races outside of those such as trolls, orcs, and the literal demi-gods. All the cultures in this world are so varried, arguably more so than our real life world. But no, all they seem to care about is skin color.
Ikr… imagine being so shallow that the only diversity these people want is skin colour, opposed to literal numerous races in middle-earth
Yeah I have no words for this. Everyone can see right through these people. They aren't "superfans" They aren't even regular fans. I highly doubt they even read the books once. If they can even read books. They look like people who only read TikTok and Twitter comments, and that's about it.
And we know Amazon will do this - I mean, it's Amazon. They have no shame, morality, ethics, sense of art, culture, or even common decency. It's a soulless company, who wants to appeal to lowest common denominator. And if you are a big company, paying a bunch of random twitter students a few hundered bucks, to say what you give them is easy. Even I could do it. So for sure Amazon can do it.
What these twats are saying about the show bares no meaning or dept. Just labeling them "superfans" isn't enough. So I don't even care what their opinion is. Someone who is payed to promote a product, will never be genuine, and their opinion never will matter.
Diversity to these people just means skin color
Don't forget about them "dangly bits."
If these people are "Super Fans" then I should be considered a Tolkien scholar. They don't know shite about Lord of the Rangs.
The irony is that most of us are better Tolkien scholars than a lot of those used by Amazon. (I mean that demented one from Glasgow).
I've only watched the movies, I have a Phd in Middle Earth studies
Oh dear.. even looks at IGN's expert... within seconds he did himself over.
Omg the CRINGE just listening to these so called "superfans" I think I lost brain cells. I was even surprised they used the term "books" I dought they ever picked up a book. I was also looking for that video to dislike it and couldn't find it. Hard to believe all this is actually happening.

These "influencers" aren't fans, they're soulless poser consumers. I highly, highly doubt they've delved deeper into Tolkien lore farther than the book covers.
By the way, I never needed Faramir to be Southeast Asian for me to identify with his character: tragic, loyal, steadfast... like a redheaded stepchild.
I think they got the wrong super fans. These guys clearly read Twilight, not Lord of the Rings
I think they've definitely be stunned by the reaction, and how they've handled it. It's so common for them to double down on this, and at first they tried to.
But the volume, wide breadth of people saying it, and how well formed the response was. They ran through their normal rpg response tree so had to start hiding things.
In a hole in the ground there lived an influencer.
lol
That's great!!! But here's the deal, all of those superfans wouldn't be able to get that reference!!!
Hahaha
"Tell me, FAN. When did Tolkien Superfan abandon reason for madness?!"
If I had to guess, sometime around when the all expenses paid free holiday for a private trailer viewing happened.
Well I say free, all it costs is your integrity.

“You’re going to be transported to another world. And you’re just gonna forget your own”
Well, considering Amazon said they wanted it to reflect what our world actually looks like, and all of the identity politics that are *obviously* in it…I find that completely absurd.
That was the statement that made me think at least for him, it's pure grift. He knew EXACTLY what an actual selling point of entertainment is. And said that knowing full well that that was exactly what was not going to happen, and what the entire video had been saying wasn't going to happen, and that it not happening was good.
No-one can spin their opinion around that fast without one of them being a lie.
@@disparutoo Yep. Pure grift. Like pretty much all wokeness in entertainment. Because wokeness is a purely *modern* political concept.
“Sauron comes and says Yo”
At this point I’m not even surprised that their Sauron is going to be a bisexual black elf which speaks in rap language :)
Haha, I can't believe my ears. Hey yo, come check my cool rings!
"Galadriel not doing much" and "when Sauron comes" were the best part for me. Hahahaha
Galadriel pretty much saved a thousand of men from Sauron and that group became the Rohirrim. She also was vital in the creation of the White Council. Her gifts saved Frodo and Sam every time... Jezz!!!
About Sauron, he was there in the first age. Beren and Lúthien... Cmon!!!
My introduction to Tolkien was, like for many others, "The Hobbit." I was around 11-years-old at the time and while I recall wishing there was a woman character somewhere (I still was very much a girl who liked her Barbie's), I never found Bilbo unrelatable. In fact, he's one of my favorite characters to this day. It never stopped me from imagining I was Bilbo on his adventure as I walked home from school every day. I believe that is a staple of good writing: the ability to transcend reality. I challenge these people who say they "need representation" in all pieces of fiction. Would they critique, say the story of "Siddhartha" in the same way? It makes me wonder if they do any reading as a good book allows you to imagine things they way you want them.
what a diverse selection of fans, am I right?!
Well, there is a lesbian AND a homosexual, so...
@@da_ocsta1452 yes, and TWO black people!
No white heterosexual man, I don’t feel represented. May the shitstorm begin 😂
The exclusion of any white male...wow, just wow.
Couldn't be any more "woke" if they tried.
And who exactly were the heroes of LOTR?
Hint: it rhymes with WHITE MALES.
@@Cryo837 just Talking about these superfans here. And I don’t really care about their ethnicities. Just making a joke. I know, there will be also white males in the new series. But this is so weird for me. It’s a medieval society, even if there were multiple ethnicities in middle earth, I doubt, that mobility was very high. It just feels so forced. As if you would put white or Asian people in Wakandas society
Did anyone tell these "superfans" that they already had representations in the movies? I mean, we saw a narcissist in the movies. He tried to destroy the lands of men as a power-mad wizard.
"This cast will be diverse!" Adds black people and gay people. Every other minority is left out. Why does hollywood think black people should make up 50% of everything they are in? Even in this "superfan" interview, it's 50% black people, 1 "ambiguous" race dude. Hollywood just can't help themselves. I love when some article pops up in Vanity Fair or some other media outlet, and they show the black characters, and say, "look at all the diversity and people of color," and it's just black people! It's perfectly fine with European people only being in European folklore. It doesn't need "diversity"
I love how everyone at Amazon is saying "interpretation." Tolkien didn't leave anything up for interpretation. You don't need a damn lawyer to "interpret" his words , letters, and works.
I refuse to watch this vile series under any circumstance. What they are doing is simply unacceptable.
Amazon’s message won’t include paying their workers or allowing them to unionise. This is the company telling us how it is - ha!
the most dirturbing about those people is that they look exactly how you expect them to look, they way they talk, the way they dress, their manerism it's like they make them in a 3d printer or something.
remember "sonic the hedgehog"? the movie makers actually listened to the fans' input after seeing the trailer. the movie actually did good and made a profit.
I've not seen the movie but I do remember the changes and the backlash and heard it was a success. I believe the creators even did a event once where during the intro they laughed about it and thanked the fans for correcting them.
Incredible video bro. “I know Kung fu” had me rolling 🤣
Thank you dude, appreciate it :D I mean I know I speak a lot with my hands but I couldn't resist that one.
I laughed my ass off when I saw that
Amazon sadly seems to have failed at the most fundamental hurdle of representation- representing the imagination and will of the author who penned the greatest piece of fiction in the last 100 years.
Time remains to see how this will pan out yet I suspect it will be a disappointing venture.
My favourite part of this was the self-proclaimed "lore buff" who hypothesised that we'd probably see the forging of the Rings of Power. Because nobody could have deduced that from a show with the title "The Rings of Power". Such a genius hot take from the "super fan".
Also, they mentioned something about representation/diversity about 17 times. They only mentioned 2 characters and 1 event of the Second Age: the forging of the Rings of Power. Just some fun figures for you there. 😉
There is only one way to fight this. Don't give them money. For Disney it includes Disney+, Pixar, Marvel, and themeparks. For Amazon it includes shopping. Cancel whatever you can and explain why. Destruction of franchises on the activist alter is not okay.
They are way to massive of a company so I highly doubt people would stop using amazon for shopping because a totally unrelated part of the company made a bad tv series. Best we can do is just not watch it and let the stats show them it was a dumb idea. Just do what any serous Tolkien fan would do and look at it as the shitty fanfiction it is.
I am a HUGE Beatles fan but I haven't seen Get Back yet because I refuse to pay the Globalist/Satanist company Disney, a penny of my money. Not ever!!!
Yes, yes, yes! This 1000 times!! DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON! EVER! Pay a bit more for your stuff, settle for owning a bit less. Then you can be pleased with yourself for not funding The Message, and also not funding overly penis-shaped rockets. That 'superfan' called himself a 'Lore buff'. A Lore Buff! Correct me if I'm wrong, but a Lore Buff should actually have a basic understanding of the actual Lore. Silly me. All these years of reading and dissecting the texts, delving into Tolkein's letters and writing my bloody dissertation on LOTR, when all I needed to do was say 'Sauron's like "Woah!"' And I would have had my Master's handed to me for being so brave, diverse and such a "Lore Buff". Give me strength! What a pile of pooh this is going to be.
7:42 the correct quote from hot Sauron is like "Yo!" - you are clearly not a superfan :p
@@Vexarax I'm not a superfan at all - I only have a casual, passing interest in the work that has obsessed me for nearly 40 years. I humbly apologise to the Lore Buff for misquoting the text so badly. I've now had the opportunity to look up the original quote and, as you rightly say, it's "Yo" not "Woah". I'm covered in chagrin and will now go and read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" as my brain obviously can't cope with the diverse wokeness and intersectional complexity of LOTR. 🤪
@@alisonanthony1228 - I, like you, am not a superfan. I am merely a casual noob fan who has adored Tolkien since childhood. Listening to Tolkien's recordings of songs from LOTR and The Hobbit (sung by Tolkien himself!!!) on cassette as I fell asleep as a child are some of my fondest memories.
Now in my 30s still love Tolkien's world above all else. I acquired a copy of The Atlas of Middle Earth late last year and have been obsessing over it ever since. I am now illustrating my own maps from the atlas, so I can feel closer to Middle Earth as I listen to Silmarillion, Hobbit, and LOTR on audiobook while drawing.
So yes like you I am a casual Tolkien noob and shall also sit in the corner reading "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" due being unable to understand the woke complexities of Tolkien's works and the deep resounding ramifications of sexy boi Sauron saying like "Yo".
Joking aside though Red Fish Blue Fish is actually a cool book !

@@Vexarax You may be a fan, and maybe even a superfan, but you are definitely NOT a "lore buff," at all. Portraying yourself as one is just fraud and misrepresentation. Pretty much all of what you said was false and a real "lore buff" would know that. Everyone on CZcams who has a reaction video cringes when you call yourself a "lore buff," it's highly obvious you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to Tolkien's universe. It gives actual Tolkien scholars a bad reputation that you call yourself a "lore buff". I hope your intent wasn't to make actual scholars look bad.
Let's start calling it what it is, cultural appropriation.
I, as a white male, was not represented in the superfans video so i simply cannot relate to it.....
These people thought they could pass these actors off as superfans of a work that literally has people getting PHDs on? people learn the languages, people pour through Tolkien's work like it is the bible. That one guy claimed he was a lore buff and I knew he was wrong on lore and I wouldn't dare call myself a lore buff compared to other people I know.
I know, they will eventually explain that TV series is just another turning of the Ring.
Almost fits!
They are superfans....superfans of the show, that is. Did they actually present themselves as superfans of the books?
Lmao we'll hear all the twisted attempts to make it fit for sure, already have them twisting language. I'm sure a lot of it will be "it's just set in a big empty space that Tolkien never wrote about. There is no lore! They'll say anything.
It was obvious they weren't
These simpering morons were hired outside a stage school. I doubt any of them have read any book let alone anything written by Tolkien.
I think the definition of "superfan" in this instance is "one who gets paid to say what they're told."
As a wheel of time fan now traumatised by Amazon....I feel you!
I'll note that in the first half hour of your video being up, you have more likes than the superfans video.
Lmao that's an incredible point to note. Especially given the size difference between the channels.
Galadriel.. "Not doing much" Hilarious. "There is ALWAYS romance between the elves and men".. THREE times in the entire history. THREE.

"Superfans" that is more exited about the representation and diversity than anything else, says quite a lot I would say. I don't think they are superfans, I don't even think they are fans.
Superfans to me are more like my father-in-law that has read everything Tolkien ever wrote and loved it since the 1950:s.
Wheel of time was just a taste of the shit fillet that this series will be
Don't you see the gift Amazon has given to us? We can now solve all of our energy needs by attaching a turbine to the spinning corpse of J.R.R. Tolkien. It is brilliant!
"We made a promise to ourselves at the beginning of the process that we weren't going to put any of our own politics, our own messages or our own themes into these movies. What we were trying to do was to analyze what was important to Tolkien and to try to honor that. In a way, we were trying to make these films for him, not for ourselves. " Peter Jackson
Something that these 'creatives' need to understand is that a Good Story does not ever need to discuss the sexual preferences of the characters. Tolkien wrote an epic adventure that never touched upon any of the character's sexual preferences and only barely brushed the concepts of romantic love at all. It wasn't a love story and the few little bits of a romance we got were fine but not truly relevant to the overall story. The elf and dunedain pairing was noted because the elf was giving up her immortality and the hobbit love was a motive for Sam to keep going and his 'reward' for making it back at the end. The love of a human for that same dunedain was just a tiny footnote in the overall story and changed nothing. Yet, the world was saved, evil was defeated, and a new age came to pass. That epic story has entertained millions of people for more than three quarters of a century. The lack of sexual orientation or deviance has never hurt it in the eyes of its fans. So why would any sane person think it need that now? Why would a story focused on where people like to put their genitals be better than an epic tale of good versus evil that everyone can enjoy? Why would the inclusion of skin pigment be more important than the message of unity against a common foe and salvation? They will never understand.
Tolkien needed a legend to represent England and English people he didn't take Dante's Inferno from Italy or The Book of Kings of Persia or The Three Kingdoms of china and change them by injecting English "representatives" in them! I'm sure he was inspired by a lots of literature but ultimately he constructed his own legend. if you feel your culture (even woke culture) lacks material, make solid material from scratch. don't go and put "representatives" in other already established stories. that's insulting and advantageous at worst and dumb and lazy at best.
I guess they have been spamming these in all languages. And did you catch what that dude said, "as an actor" so they admit this is just scripted propaganda.

They were not BORN when the first movie came out and they CLEARLY have not read the book let alone anything else around it. This honestly feels more like the videos where they get young kids to use a rotary phone or connect to the internet through dialup
Yes I saw someone looked them up and 2 of them weren't born and I think only one of them MIGHT be able to remember them a bit, but was probably so young they'd have no memory. I don't know why Amazon thinks this is the target demographic of LotR
This is the type of mentality fron Amazon that pissed on Robert Jordan's legacy as well.
And them doing that is exactly why I'm making videos about this in the first place. Wheel of Time meant a lot to me and I don't want to see them doing it to another property and another fan base.
I really enjoyed Squidgame and empathized with the characters, but then I remembered I wasn't asian and all that went away
Yes, imagine if we were in squid game. Then it might have actually been a success. It might have swept across the entire west and been talked about by everyone for weeks, with everyone recommending it to their friends. But I guess as we weren't in it, that couldn't have happened.
The level of narcissism is nauseating. If I was Bezos I would fire the entire marketing department and imprison them.
Other people have noticed that none of these "superfans" are older than 40, maybe 35, right?
I'm sure Amazon have decided a target age for their show. I guess you can see who that is from this.
i am so disgusted by this fake people. btw love the diablo shirt :)
Thank you, yes it's one of my favourites :)
I can't decide what to type, that interview was so painful. Sauron hot? Galadriel not doing anything? ????? Do these idiots have any idea how based Sauron is, or how terrifying Galadriel is? My guy.
There is an ongoing trend to find the most evil villains and claim they're attractive. You know The IT movie with the clown? Same thing happened there....
Now here is what will happen next.. in next months, Amazon will bring original LOTR cast to it's fold. And we cannot get mad at them because their Job is at the stake. They obviously cannot go against super rich company, so they will all probably say they love Amazon LOTR... that fake Tolkien scholar is already bringing Billy Boyd to the fold...
damn man...
Someone being associated to the original trilogy wouldn't stop me giving my opinion on something they say. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're right about this tactic. Amazon pulled a similar thing with Brandon Sanderson and Wheel of Time.
I will lose respect for Billy boyyd.
@@disparutoo I mean, if their PR has brain, they will do that. But one can hope they dont. Because I see many people listening to Legolas or Gimli or Aragorn... but maybe I am wrong, I hope I am... whatever the case our army of dissapointed fans is massive...
i pray to Illuvatar that should never happen.
@@elle7533 Don't, there is nothing he can do if they do it. If he criticises Amazon, chances are big that he will have big troubles in getting new actor roles for films.
Thank you, Disparu! Keep doing what you're doing!!
I found you by accident and whoa dude, I am really digging your videos.
Insightful, intelligent, and you’re not afraid to call out peoples bs.
Keep it up!
Ha thank you, I think all of youtube discovery is stumbling upon people by accident. These videos were picked up by the algorithm luckily and got recommended to many more people than normal. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the time anyone spends watching my videos.
These so called superfans openly admit to being (paid) influencers at the beginning.
Sauron is hot and says "Yo".....enough said campy guy.
Spuperfans indeed.
I don´t understand the need for self insertion and "representation" , I have autism, celiacs disease and IBS , I don´t need to see a socially awkward elf s**ing themselves or spend an episode running around trying to find gluten free lembas bread, please don´t represent me, thanks in advance to amazon.
None of these "Superfans" have ever posted a video on CZcams about anything to do with Tolkien on their respective sites. The two girls seem to be Potter fans and Actresses if you follow the rabbit🤔
Sauron was in the first age but he was not as powerful. There was an elf in love with a man in the first age. They need to read the Silmarillion.
Came in from the quartering. I've watched 5 videos. You've earned my sub. Keep it up.
They are not "super fans" - they are clearly not fans at all. Bizarre language and body movements - it seemed forced and unnatural. I doubt any of these people speak and behave like this when the camera is not running.
Watching this review is like watching someone review an airplane and talk about how well it floats.
The problem with films and shows at this point in time is that they do not want a story, they want mary sues, skin colors and *THE MESSAGE*
Hey man, came over from the quartering . I dig the videos I’ve seen so far from ya. Definitely gonna be watching your stuff in the future
You could argue that Galadriel was so powerful she was above the kinds of warfare men employ. Now, they're just dragging her down to the dirt.
Letter 210;
“The canons of narrative an in any medium cannot be wholly different ; and the failure of poor films is often precisely in exaggeration, and in the intrusion of unwarranted matter owing to not perceiving where the core of the original lies.”
- J.R.R. Tolkien
after seen those superfans speaking, I'm 100% percent convinced that we will have a lot of GAY ELVES in the show ( if there ever was a doubt). Maybe Elrond. Wait - this guy kind of said it. "Maybe Sauron is super hot and i want to fix him." So HERE IS WHAT WE WILL GET: A tragic love story of gay Celebrimbor and Sauron in his form as Annatar, Celebrimbor who falls for Sauron who then manipulates him to forge the rings. Imagine this scene. Sauron smoothly guiding celebrimbors hammer.... mmmm... what an intense scene... all this sweating and splashes of fire. Amazon, why. Why? WHY?
Hopefully Sauron says "YO"
one of the most hilarious things ive ever seen
Letting robots put other people's and companie's creations into standardized boxes and sell them to people in front of screens.
Thats the business modell of Amazon. Aparently they stay true to this concept, even in movie production.
The sole definition of "tooting your own horn" ignoring what the people You are making the product for are wanting and going head first eyes closed anyway. This is one fandom you can't mess with sooo... BIG mistake Amazon 😅 Those "Superfans" didn't even mention anything LOTR worthy or anything to make me thing they know even a piece of Tolkien's world...
Tell em Disparu!!!
One day maybe my sarcasm can end up on a movie poster with my name as a byline.
Wow. Those superfans...you can literally feel the IQ level in the room drop as soon as they opened their mouths. I don't really see any of them being capable of reading 1000+ pages of Tolkien prose.
Ok I got it now they were all DRUNK getting a FREE RIDE to a Place that sounds like a VACATION SPOT it was NEVER about the BOOKS. That's gotta be one of the most SELFISH REASONS to SUPPORT a SHOW that DESTROYS SOMEONE'S LEGACY as a "SUPER FAN"!
Given how articulate these super fans are, I highly doubt they have read an entire book between them.
Ending racisim has already happened. This is a group of people that don't want it too end, they just want to be in the driver's seat now.
Brilliant shows, well presented with a mix of humour, honesty, common sense and critic. Love it! Well done @Disparu!
Thank you, thats exactly what I aim for :) And you put the U in humour so you are clearly a man of culture.
@@disparutooThis is true. Ha! I'm a Brit that has retained the ability to spell.
The guy with the earrings called himself a "lore buff" and then proceeded to confirm that he has a very vague idea - at best - of any lore not explicitly in the Jackson movies.
None of these people have probably even watched the movies, let alone read LOTR. These people probably don't even know what the Silmarils are: and that isn't even close to deep lore.
Want to congratulate you on hitting 10k subscribers. You're at 9.62k now. Just wanted to beat the clock.
The original movie trilogy has some of the best female representation in film. The girls weren't insisting they were as muscly as men, they were fully realized women content to be feminine while saving the world and being epic.
