I watch a lot of CZcams videos and see a lot of traders earning massively and then I start to wonder what I could possibly be doing wrong because I’ve been trading for a couple of months and every trading attempt seems to be red, never have I seen a green day. It is really frustrating seeing loses without any profit. So, I decided to work a bit more on myself and then opened a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
DO NOT believe a lot of these youtubers they make it seem so easy. And also, maybe you should just quit trading isn’t for everyone.
@Claire miller You’re right! I do not lose money every single trade, but my main issue is trying to let my runners run up. . Very rarely do I catch big moves. Instead, they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries would definitely need a lot of Improvement. A mentor would be a great idea but getting one isn’t as easy as it seems. If I may ask, do you know any genuine one?
Profit or loss all part of trading journey no need to worry as even experts also make loss but how you will manage your loosing trade & how you will bounce back with confidence that matters, As you mentioned that you took trades based on your prediction & opp. also it looks like you need to have a proper logic before taking any trades, learn to watch market like an audience before you get right time to enter (with logic) after clear price action observation when your thinking syncronises with market trend its easy to predict market if u have enough skills & experience, all you need do is reffer higher time frames to predict next moves & use lower time frames to find right entry with reasonable Stop loss.

I am early in my trading career doing ok ok types, can do great, but, but, until I can overcome what you said well.
"Unable to Keep "Strict" Stoploss", Why? Because mostly first it's a Profit in lacs so then to see it converted to loss in more lacs, is hard to digest" - Emotionally Attached, Working on it.
"FOMO" - I should have entered as per my setup, oh see, it went accordingly, Lets enter now, GONE!!! - Again, Working on it.
Just if I can manage above two well, I will achieve Nirvana!!!
Your Secret is also what I say to myself everytime I make a loss "THERE IS ALWAYS A NEXT TRADE" - But, again, temptation to recover loss, missed entry!!! - Working on it... 🙂

abid's league is a legendary trader....it's the feel of trading which if it soothes one .. then that person is doing right as trading...the moment one feels suffocating...then as trading he is doing wrong....kick mile na mile ...proud feel hona jaruri hai..piasa banta rehta hai..aur return should be satisfactory so one should not feel wastage of time....best talk...if there is some scale of learning in trading out lvl 10.. i give it lvl 9 high
Truth is he showed true side,the right side of trading,we are at a stage where lakhs of demat accounts are getting opened,people want ride on the bull run which no more now,if i find someone who is honest,correct,transparent,even though does not recommend something which is not worth it. That really opens my eyes,he has shown what works &what does not&what a person has to do to make it work,which i believe is true,very few people do this,not endorsing the product for the right thing of people. So after watching this video, I got confused, so please help by letting me know if I am right or not.
1. STCG is only applied on cash trade whose duration is more than 1 day and less than 365 days. And it is flat 15% not 30%.
2. F&O trading comes under Non-Speculative Business Income and no STCG is applied to this. We have to pay Income tax based on our Income Tax Bracket.
3. Now let's assume we trade with a Capital of Rs 1000000 (10 lakh) in F&O.
Annual Return Generated = 48% ( Average of 4% per month)
Annual Profit Generated = 480000 (4.8 lakh).
As per my knowledge Income Tax is applied on the profit, not on the principle, And this profit is generated from F&O trading so the income tax bracket will be applied.
So Income Tax Slab ( New Regime)
0 - 2.5 lakh = Nil
2.5 lakh - 5 lakh = 5 %
So the tax able income = 4.8 lakh - 2.5 lakh
= 2.3 lakh
Tax to be paid = 5% of 2.3 lakh
= Rs 11,500
Profit after Tax = Rs 480000 - Rs 11,500
= Rs 468500 (4.68 lakh)
Based on this calculation
Income per month after Tax = Rs 39,041
Income per day after Tax = Rs 1283
This is my calculation Please tell me if I have done any mistakes or misunderstood things differently.
With all due respect, to me the excel formula shown in the video is over simplified.. one major idea in trading is compounding your capital which was not taken care off in the formula. Btw, in point 3 you put 1 lakh in number however wrote 10 lakh in words..

Saurabh Dani ji , I fully corroborate your calculations as same is my calculation also . As Mr. Sankalp Bhattacharya rightly said , the Excel Sheet calculation in video is oversimplified .
We have thoroughly researched and analysed cases of " Darvas" and " Wyckoff " who had made exceptional profits and that too consistently. With due regards to Abid Jee's yearly returns calculation , my very humble query is that how does it fits in with phenomenal returns achieved by Darvas and Wyckoff . I request Abid jee and Kar jee to please enlighten us more on this anomaly.

I am watching all sort of trading related videos from 2018. And I have spent tremendous time and energy on trying different things in trading. But the excel sheet which was shown by Abid was brutally true. It was so true that now I am thinking to quit trading. As my trading capital is so small that I will not be able to generate meaningful money out of it. It is a very rare situation because I am both sad and happy. Thank you Abhishek bhai and Abid bhai.

3 years back When I was 19 years old I thought ye sab bakvaas hai small capital se bhi paise banunga main kuch years me full tym krunga lekin reality ye nhi hai.... Job ke sath trading is nice.... Ya toh capital aacha khasa ho.... 50lakh to 1cr. Kuch traders bhut successful hai iska matlab ye nhi hai ki hum bhi ho jayenge successful kyoki luck also matters... I am saying to all young friends If you are new comer in stock trading or market then please focus on Study and get job and side by side learn and trade with small amount don't to become full time trader... NHI time nikl jayega toh bhut pashtawa Hoga... Thank you
