Had a wonderful opportunity to hear you live for an event of new acropolis Mumbai.
I didn't know back then that you were a disciple of Pandit abhyankar ji.
About 8-10 years ago, me and my friends used to listen to one of the songs sung by him- " Tu mala, mi Tula haat haati dila, shodhnya nav-nile, ha phulancha jhula".
I lost the audio of the song and have been craving to hear that. Unfortunately, I am unable to find it anywhere on the internet.
I request you to please ask pandit ji if he will be kind enough to sing it and send a audio. I shall be forever grateful 🙏🙏.

Yet another scintillating performance!! Absolutely stunned by the rhythmic complexity of this piece. Kalavati tarana is one of the most enjoyable yet delicate and intricate compositions I have ever come across. I am lack of words to describe the genius of Panditji and his musical creations. And you have always been an adept, presenting your own take on them from raag miyan malhar to rageshri bandishes.
The playful and vibrant hues of the raag embellished in the tarana created an uplifting and lilting ambience making the soul dance. Your voice sounded as whimsical as an oboe in the upper register, mellifluous and enchanting. The melody reverberating through the harmonium accompaniment added to the charm of the performance. But a most fascinating and splendid presence that was provided by the tabla sangat was just brilliant. Much appreciation. I was completely wonderstruck at the tabla solo. The whole piece was both melodically and rhythmically excellent. The syncopated tabla accompaniment was an interesting feature making the taal feel like a complex time signature, adding to a whole new level of amazement. Never knew classical music could be this lively making my heart dance.
With the laya becoming dhrut, the whole tone of the piece changed. The vocals sounded so stately that I had goosebumps. I am incapable to appreciate you enough for your brilliance, the sheer perfection with which you performed the concluding part.
(Eagerly waiting for more such renditions. Just keen to know, is Rasika as well a series like Navyaa ? )

Wonderful rendition ❤ One of my favs by Pt Sanjeev Abhyankar. Have been listening to it ever since I heard it from you during a digital / online concert. Enjoyed this rendition thoroughly, though I especially loved the part from 2 to 2:20. And that अंत ka सा was just ❤❤❤😇 Will keep coming here as I know I will discover and relate with new / different parts each time 😊❤ Beautiful as always. Remarkably brilliant Tabla too!!! 👏 Loved it!
