I'm sure we've all dealt with procrastination. Here's a story from one of the Companions of the Prophet (saw) who dealt with it too!

13:40 And subhanAllah that moment of day 50, he described his feelings exactly how it was described in Quraan :’), and subhanAllah at the same moment the good news came :’) sometimes we want everything to be fixed and answered right away! but no! we are in Dunya not in Jannah! surely we will be tested so we have to have patience and be firmed to what Allah want from us, just like Ka'b bin Malik (RA)

Ive been in your shoes before
First thing you gotta salute yourself for wanting to change. This is a sign that theres good in you.
Before I continue you gotta have certainty in you heart. If you think you’re low on this part of your deen. Don’t hesitate a quick research to help you to build a better picture of Allah.
2. Stop judging yourself and don’t drown in self-loathing. Be resilient and accept yourself for who you really are right now and what you’ve done in the past.
3. Pray pray pray. We are weak. We are nothing without our God. Admit this to him. Cry your heart out. Admit you wrongdoing and ask for His forgiveness. Tell him you want to be better. Ask Him for guidance. Plead with certainty that he will answer your duaa. He loves it for you to come to Him. If He saw no good in He wouldn’t have got you to feel this way about yourself and would let you go stray until theres no going back.
So dont give up. He’s seeing you. He knows you want to change for the better.
*i suggest you pray two rakas atleast right before Fajr prayer when everyone’s asleep *
4. I repeat you gotta accept your self first. Be easy on yourself and never stop praying. Be sincere in your Duaa
5. Start small!! Dont rush!! So that you don’t fall back.Dont worry. He sees. He knows your intention. You dont have to be a “super muslim” in a day or two. Something i wish someone told me before is that this process is slow but don’t you ever give up.!!! You came to Allah you think he’ll just leave you? This is the time where you’re sincerity is being test. Hold on!!!! Don’t you fall back. And DONT LET THE SHAYTAN BRING YOU DOWN. Around this time he’ll try alot to pull you. He’ll tell you youre not making any progress. He’ll make you think Allah is displeased and dont want you back. DONT YOU FALL FOR HIS WHISPERING. DON NOT LET HIM IN. Pray pray pray
6. Listen to lectures To help you keep going.
7. Your prayers you have to push yourself to pray the 5 prayers even if you dint feel like it. Again pray for strength to continue
Take this now only for now and Inshallah you alone would know what do next as you keep going. You know why? Because Allah will open doors for you. Whether it be good lecture, good companionship, hate for music. I promise you everything will be okay soon InshaaAllah ❤️
May Allah guide you to His straight path and that you keep going to win His satisfaction

Oh my God... I always compare my exam to jihad when i am reading the Quran.
And today I recited those ayahs in which those 3 were mentioned.
Allah said Allah is merciful with them🥺 Those were such kind words.
At 1st i was constantly considering myself as munafiq when reading the ayahs abt them. But then when their zikr came, i was so envious of them like kash Allah be so merciful with us too to grant us and then accept our toba.
I was just imagining the story of repentance of Kaab which I had read in my childhood and had most probably wept on the way he had suffered, the way the whole world was dark around him.
I was today thinking of myself. I too am like in that situation or would be if i failed. Despite having every facility,time, the ability to learn, etc everything Alhamdulillah. Just procrastination and no discipline is my problem.
Then i just thought maybe i shd someday read his story again
And now out of nowhere this vid came😭
