Admittedly my knowledge and exposure to AAA has been limited to their partnerships with AEW, New Japan and Impact Wrestling, as I've never seen any of the AAA shows or matches themselves, but I have seen a lot of the talent that has worked for AAA in different promotions over the years, so I really loved getting a short history lesson on the promotion through your channel. Keep up the great work :)

I would watch it back in like 08 with my pops

@Jack Ryan I also haven't had a ton of exposure to AAA or really many of the Mexican Federations over time but CZcams does have alot of their older major PPV shows and their main show Triplemania usually within a week or so of happening!

For longest time my exposure to Lucha Libre was the WCW Cruiserweight division I was watching that a long time until they went to WWE when they were bought out I was looking through the channels one day in 2003 that's when I found AAA also cmll send my favorite memories with luchadoras like Ultimate Dragon and La parka vs. La parka some of the bloodiest matches in AAA

AAA is more modernized than CMLL. But title defenses are still rarely being defended at all.

I was born in 91 and I’m a New Yorker lived in the projects and I in my room I had my own tv but no cable at times and when I wasn’t watching raw and after 99 smackdown I would watch triple A on wednesdays or the weekends on a Spanish channel ( not telemundo or Univision) but yea I’m happy america is finally recognizing Lucha libre and appreciating it more

I remember watching the Perros de Mal and Taya Valkyrie for the 1st time the early and mid-2010s, and by that time, they were ahead of most other things out on the airwaves. For example, the hardcore match Taya had with Fabi apache at triplemania 2014, was nothing like you would see on US TV at that time

I don't regularly watch AAA but I love that Vickie guerrero is a heel manger for AEW talent. Such a perfect position for her.

    • @vicenteguerrero1433

over on impact wrestling Taya Valkyrie has always had good things to say about AAA and her time being the Reina de Reinas champion 4 X

@@vicenteguerrero1433 I quite like it. I only can access the free content they put on CZcams. They even had a Marvel branded match with Lucha Avengers which was fun.

Please do a thorough history of All Japan Pro Wrestling, including some exoduses from certain wrestlers such as Genichiro Tenryu, Mitsuharu Misawa, and Keiji Mutoh.
On the other hand, ECW also had a PPV of the same name called When Worlds Collide that came out 4 months before WCW/AAA did. In fact, the company actually sued them for copyright infringement.

Just went to a AAA house show in Monterrey Mexico and it was definitely cool. They didn’t have all the the top stars there of course, but the talent they did have was very good. Laredo Kid was the best in my opinion. I can see more of their stars finding their way to the United States. Would love to see a Triplemania though.
