William, that is amazing! I remember when you told me you couldn't sing in the Music Room at Jindalee School! I said you could! And listen to now!!
Fantastic! ( from a very proud fan!)
My goodness, my heart goes out to all those sad pathetic lost souls who made the effort to give this stunning, inspiring performance a "thumbs down". This is SO effin awesome!
Super-fusion culture shock . . . it is fortunate that someone sometime invented both the guitar and the didgeridoo so that at a later time someone could come up with this . . .
World Scholars Cup anyone?
Yh, did you qualify?

omg thats awesone il pay for a cd of you
Nice, but I sure wish someone would create a piece combined with a modern orchestra where the didgeridoo played the "most prominent roll" in the arrangement. The pieces we've seen so far, such as (didgeridoo meets orchestra) are great, but are overshadowed by excessive dependance on the orchestra or accompanying instruments. I see a piece where the didgeridoo is a metaphor for the voice, and presence of a shaman, or sage leading the uninitiated on a dreamlike journey through the spirt world up and, down the dark valleys, and billabongs of imagination through the dream time. The orchestra should be there only to provide the sounds of nature in the background the birds, breezes, cracking thunder, insects, and to enhance the presence of (beings) in the story, a programatic story of guided musical imagery I'd right it myself but I can't right music : ( It seems this piece is destined to be created by Mr. Barton. I see the whole scenario like an imaginary stage performance, an aboriginal dance crossed with a ballet, but of "musical imagery" perhaps even performed on a large enough stage where aboriginal dances, and cave painting images could be broadcast on the back of the stage or walls of the theater, a walkabout or the lighting of seasonal fires. The orchestra and didgeridoo dance together smoothly one seamlessly meshing with the other in synchrony, then counterpoint, then dissonance. Damn if I could only right music. : (
Yeah, the symphony playing instruments always seem to come over as too loud and over the top of the didge, really annoying.
Dude here I am 4years after this comment telling you that you should definitely get more into music or accompanying artist because you have so much give to this world, as much as Mr.Barton
Thanks for this wonderful comment, gives me much more inspiration to pursue my experience with the didg
* put Cat reading news paper meme here* i should buy a Didgeridoo
