I was fortunate to have seen Churchill Falls in all its glory, and it was glorious. I lived there off and on from 1969 to 1972. A lot has changed since then; everything was gravel back then, and there was no road out of town except to job sites. Everything, including food and people, was flown in and out.
That is awesome (in the original, full, meaning of the word)! The solitude! I found the present view of the falls impressive. Hard to imagine the effect of the original flow of water.
Awesome shots of Churchill falls and its gorge ! Just think how spectacular it would have looked before it was harnessed for its hydro-power !

My dad, me (From Maine) and my friend from Labrador City toured the Power Plant there in i think 1992.
Like a lot of things, the tour there was closed because of Covid. I would have loved to have seen it.
