I think this interview with Aaron is great, and shows a lot about his personality. He's honest and doesn't believe that he's the greatest drummer in the world, and doesn't pretend to be either.
@friik182 haha its a drum shop.. they have a whole wall of cymbals to choose from, so yes they are for sale.. guitarcenter in their drum section has a wall of cymbals also..
all this critique is lost on me, it's not like he's out here bragging about his drumming; he's got profound modesty and loves music for what it really is
@drummerliger678 Think about it. The waves created by the sticks hitting the circle of bronze flow through the entire cymbal. The thinner the cymbal, the easier it is for the waves to flow (less resistance). Oppositely, (and contrary to popular belief,) thicker cymbals won't last as long because it is more stiff and less flexible, making it more resistant to waves. However, hitting a cymbal with proper technique can ensure both thick and thin will last just as long as each other.
lol he's pretty aweful, sorry to say but slamming your sticks as hard as you can against the drum kit while playing fast singles on the double bass with no accents isnt talent. I was an underoath fan for 3 years too until i opened my eyes to real drumming a few years ago

they have this theory that thinner cymbals are more flexible and therefore, less likely to break right away... but i dont know...
