I’m Mexican and I hand wash everything. My mom uses the dishwasher for storing her pots and pans. We never use it lol

That was very good appraisal Naz when he opened the water bottle. It’s so much more beneficial when you tell a child “good job opening the door” or something like that because it helps them recognize oh I opened the door. Great for speech development too. I learned this from my daughters speech therapist. Also your such a great mom! 🥰

Curly hair should be Detangled or “refreshed” everyday. Especially since kiddos play and lay around on their hair all day. This helps with tangles for my curly hair and both of my sons. Hope this helps girl!👍🏾
@@deannailer4297 Both brands Cantu & Shea Moisture have a good kids line for natural hair. You may have to try out a couple different brands to see which one their hair responds to/ benefits from the best.

I would take Von to a curl specialist to see what works best for his hair type, also he might need a trim so his hair doesn’t get tangled!!

@@dxstiny0015 a trim to cut off any damage is a yes, she’s not saying cut it short so that she doesn’t have to manage it she’s saying that if it’s prone to tangles it could mean that he needs a trim. I notice that if I’ve been having bad wash days consecutively it’s because my ends are ratty and need to be trimmed. Her comment is coming from a good place 😊
Wrong answer she should learn to take care of her black sons hair which she is which is why she went target don’t go tell non black moms who have black children to take their kids to a curl specialist kids remember stuff like that and it can be damaging all she has to do is get a detangler she might have to test a few out me me I’m 21 and have curly hair and I still have to adjust my hair products depending on the weather or sometimes my hair just won’t take to certain products anymore but he don’t need to see no damn specialist Kmt

You are totally right! alternative milk and cereal are NOT it! It just isn’t the same... and don’t feel bad about the dishwasher... we have a dishwasher and hand wash ALL THE TIME... sometimes the dishwasher just doesn’t get all the crud out

In my house I was never aloud to use the dish washer my mom swore it don’t clean the dishes so now I hand wash everything it’s just a drying rack
Omg Von is a mini Mel! How adorable is he when he babbles as if he is having a full on conversation with you and the way he reads.. he is too cute! 2 Things... Does Von need the sound machine every time he sleeps? Have you thought about decreasing it over time so he gets used to sleeping without noise? You had me in the feels when you cried. Its emotional when you watch them growing right in front of your eyes and become little independent humans but im wondering could it be another pregnancy??! I hope sure so!
With kavon's hair, try holding his hair at the root and detangling at the ends first then slowly work your way upward (if you dont already do that). Holding the roots with one hand and detangling with the other will keep from pulling his hair and creating uncomfortable tension for him.
Also, I can only do cereal with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Regular vanilla is too sweet and the original is way too watery tasting. And even still I only do the unsweet vanilla with basic cereals like honey nut cheerios or honey bunches of oats lol can't do it with fruity cereals at all!
You have to try using the ‘wet brush’ for Kavon’s hair! I have super curly 4a hair and this makes detangling a BREEZE. I also use it for my nieces and nephews with similar hair and there is no tears or struggles. It’s seriously the most magical brush I’ve ever used. Combs are super harsh for our texture of hair when wet - it snags the curls more and creates breakage.
The way he read that book is so cute 😂😂 please capture all his cute moments on camera , they grow up so quickly 🤗

Yes, I have no room left for physical copies so Kindle was the best purchase I have made. I read 10x faster on it! I love that it tells you how much percentage you have left of the book and even how much time you have left of the chapter (it detects your reading speed), its light so comfortable to hold, screen is matte so no glare and battery lasts FOREVER. 10/10 recommend :)
Try adding more moisture/oil type products to his hair. His hair type will definitely soak up the product. Try not shampooing his hair as much. 💙 figure out his hair type and find out if Von has high or low porosity hair, that will better help you with his hair care!

It’s just my mom and I and we never use the dishwasher we never have a ton of dishes so we just hand wash!!!! The dishwasher uses so much extra water and electricity and honestly hand washing is just quicker

I have the kindle app on my iPad and it works well! I dont see the point in buying a whole new tablet just to read. A lot of libraries allow you to borrow books digitally on kindle too so it's a great way to save $
I love my kindle!! I am able to read in the dark, highlight without a pen, and if u don’t understand a word u can click on it and it shows the definition, it’s honestly amazing

There’s some great detangling products on the market that I know would help his hair. Probably a spray leave-in would be good.
Not sure if you would be interested in a pre-shampoo but African Pride has a great one. It’s aloe Vera based.
I 1,000% agree I stopped consuming dairy and I once tried combining almond milk with cereal &it wasn’t good. I pretty much stopped eating cereal because of the same reasons but I have tried it with oat milk and it was much tastier 🙌🏼 so thankful your sharing this brand of cereal I’ll definitely be trying them out !
Naz! I just got a Kindle Paperwhite at the end of August and have been loooooving it. I read when blowdrying my hair, eating, leisure times, literally so amazing and definitely beats reading on an iPhone, especially outside. I love physical books but with the Kindle, I read more, enjoy it more, it's super convenient and takes up no space in smaller bags!

for me it’s all about pairing the right almond milk with your cereal. usually for a more sugary cereal i’ll use an unsweetened, and for less sugary cereals i’ll use the sweetened almond milk.

A good hair brand to try is carols daughter (black vanilla/lavender) and or Camille rose deep conditioners! Both are really good for detangling and adding moisture back into the hair. Camille Rose deep conditioner is #1 !

Oh my goodness I loved what he did when he opened the book like as if he was reading it so cute! ❤️ I so agree Naz my husband & I are in the bad habit too we use our daughter as the alarm clock but it’s kind of bad mostly because we are like still half awake half asleep trying to change her struggling a bit to get going so I agree I’m in school right now too & my husband works so we’re trying to get into a better routine I saw you all’s morning routine & ours is like the exact same we’ve been implementing cuddling since now our daughter is 12 months she’s a bit older even though I don’t know how but toddlers are so energetic as soon as they wake up lol she’s climbing on top of us like Von & going everywhere! Lol I so look forward to you all’s videos! Can’t wait for another meal ideas because we’re in a big recipe rut!
