I never understood how we couldn't use him properly at Juve. We were kind of stubborn, always looking to replace pirlo by converting players to play regista even though we didn't have to. Him and Pjanic were done bad imo. Pjanic could've done so much more playing as an 8 or 10. Bentancur is the same. He could play the 6 but he's better as a box to box midfielder imo.

I miss watching this guy play. Such a smart tackler and amazing composure on the ball. The best ones make it look so effortless that they just glide. Once he gets his legs back to full fitness, he’ll crush it in AngeBall. Can’t wait!
The man is a Rolls Royce. Great touch, positioning, passing range, engine, IQ, tenacity, timing. Great all round complete midfielder. Should truly shine in Postecoglou's system. Could play equally well as the 8 or the 6.
As a spurs fan, I admit I didn't know much about him before he arrived, but have been massively impressed. High energy, strong, skillful and now adding some goals, he's a complete midfielder. Runs himself into the ground every game too, which the fans appreciate.

I get Berbatov vibes from his effortless style of movement and silky style that seems to come so effortlessly to him, what a player we have here.

He's been off it ever since his suspension. (Maybe a couple of games before that) . He's the type of player that needs competition for his spot I feel. Once he knows that his spot is guaranteed. He will show up more often than not. Even Saar though......I love him What a player ?!? He doesn't stop galloping around the park. It looks like we're gonna swap Hojberg and possibly skipp in the long run for two other players ...maybe Gallagher and someone else. We've also added forwards.. I can't believe this is Spurs .. Next year ... we're going to be stacked at every position!!

I really like Bentancur he's a 7/10 minimum type of player and he can impact the pitch on all areas of the pitch. Hojbjerg next to him is a good leader, helps the centrebacks behind him and he adds a physical aggressive presence in midfield. But I think if spurs wants to change their fortune the thing they need most is a third midfielder who can be the most attacking, can create high quality chances and add a more consistent goal threat. Maddison is the main guy people would think of but personally I would go for milinkovic savic. Maddison is a better chance creator and would add a set piece taker but sms is a real leader, can impact in all matches and he won't shy away ever, and I think he will really elevate the mentality of those around him
