to be honest i got bored with flyin steps... ye benny kimoto is a good bboy and stuff but their battle was wack. on the other hand waseda did a sick battle they should have won
For style, execution and finesse there is only one winner - Flying Steps! Waseda were good but too many corny routines which they sometimes messed up and any so called bboy crew that wears shorts at a BOTY final immediately loses my respect. It's a final! Put some effort in and look like a bboy and not like you are going to the beach!! The amazing thing for me with Flying Steps is no other crew in bboy history has the fast, clean technically excellent footwork they have...I mean no crew!!! So many so called bboys look like shit when they do their footwork - it's sloppy, overly complex contortionist nonsense. No other crew can do fast, technically complex, clean foot work like Flying Steps...and it's not just one crew member - but the whole crew!! So many bboys have shit footwork as they focus on power moves. Flying Steps have the power moves and the footwork - the best overall bboy crew ever in my opinion and I have been following bboying since 1983.
