Yes she was clever. She even found out that Alex was poisoning her with those pills and the therapist helped him to do it. So she deserved to go to jail as well since she was an associate to the attempted murder. If Alex really wanted to get away with it, he shouldn’t have put them under the bed covers, that would be the first place people find it. She was good to him and Alex just had to cheat on her. There are a lot of cheater cheater pumpkin eaters out there.

Realistically what kinds of criminal penalties would they face? violating her medical oath by trying to kill someone with prescription and sleeping with the husband of a married couple she is counseling have got to be major crimes.
I wonder what kind of SUING RIGHTS she would have? She could probably get everything from the husband in the divorce settlement and also sue the "therapist".

In india (Tamil Nadu), this incident happened really. A married women had a false relationship with a shopkeeper, they decided to get marry. She poisoned her husband and 2 kids. Now she is in jail.

Alex was a sick-minded jerk, he clearly didn't love or care about Stella otherwise he wouldn't of cheated and done something so horrible. Jessica is just as horrible too for her deceit and giving him the poisonous stuff in the first place.
Jessica was a doctor, no matter what kind of and she was ready to poison an innocent woman just to be with her man. Alex is much worser, he tried to poison his own wife!

Whenever you put your trust in your spouse, a parent, a cop, a Judge, a D.A., your doctor, there should be absolute trust, without any consideration, that you may be shaking hands, or sleeping with the enemy. Sadly, in our world, that trust is so often violated. And those offenders should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And that includes someone of authority (Law Enforcement, Officer of the court; D.A. or judge) receiving the maximum sentence and put into the general population, in prison.
Ha ha ha ha ha! The cheating husband who poisoned his wife is a great actor! I remember him seeing in a few episodes. He has a wonderful accent! He thought he could get away in the end but unfortunately he was arrested along with his therapist the one who he was having an affair with. She was pretty too. Excellent acting by the way! Being betrayed by your pychiatrist is one of the worst betrayals n knowing she is feeling the way she does after taking the meds, her psychiatrist should of changed her meds immediately. I'm so glad she figured out what they were doing before it was to late, and then she did what was right by calling the police n having them arrested.
