I’m so glad it happened the way it did. I don’t think it would’ve worked out if they started dating when they first met on BIP. He appreciates her so much more after all that happened. Yeah, I feel bad for Kevin, esp because they set up the engagement while Kevin was there and watching, and that was kinda shitty, but like Jarod said, he wanted to do it in a place that both meant something to each other.
Everything happened the way it was supposed to. I am SOOO happy they’re together.
Funfact, they actually got engaged in Hawaii, but the show wanted them on for it, so they did it there again.

Am I the only one that found Jared to be a total douche? Like yes, Ashley is a bit intense but he knew how much she was in love with him. He kept her at an arms distance as his "friend" while he continued to date others. It is only once she finally moved on that he all the sudden decided he was in love with her. I still think it's just because he missed having someone obsessed with him and knew he could "win".

Lol to be fair, there was an Australian Jarrod so that was the way to distinguish them.
This relationship started rocky and it seems it will continue due to Jared's unstable emotional attitude at times and his inability to make decisions for himself and other around him.It took him how many years to deal and figure out what he wants for himself. He will struggle in the relationship if they have problems. I hope that Jared seeks counselling/therapy for his metal health.
Jennifer K She chased him, she caught him. He has no tangible career or source of income, but she does. He visibly wasn’t into her until he realised the convenience the union would bring him. Life’s about compromises. Wise decision.

Be nice to them some people are like that they will value something until they realized they are going to lose it. Even Jared parents told him nobody is better than Ashley. True, the process was long, finally Jared catches up and made the best decision for him. Ashley is a good catch, very conservative girl, well educated, nice personality I love both of them as a couple. Ashley and Jared are one of the best couples from the franchise.

I must be the only female who finds him unattractive. I just don't get it but I truly wish them both happiness. I personally would never fully trust a man who wasn't into me for 2.5 yrs while I chased him like a psycho, then suddenly he was like you're the one. Whole thing is just too bizarre for words. I don't find the journey cute. I mean the man was terrified of her on the BIP & was into everyone but her. Nothing about this relationship seems grounded in truth. It's like he settled after 3 yrs & everyone telling him you'll never find anyone who loves you more than her. You shouldn't have to chase a man, let alone hunt him for nearly 3 yrs for him to finally see for your worth. The man should chase you & want you. He never did. Those are just facts. How she thinks that's what she deserves is just as troubling. I wish them well but bejezus, this is one bizarre relatinship.
