Love your picks! Happy New Year! Read Solenoid by Cartarescu.
You single handedly put the stone diaries at the top of my 2024 reading list. Oo interesting connection w the eternal daughter x cold enough. I see it even tho i really disliked jessica au and liked joanna hogg. My fav book i read this yr was i love you but ive chosen darkness-claire vaye watkins. I stared at your pjs the entire time. Polka dots and doggies aww!
After how much he has mentioned the stone diaries. I have to read it this year too.
Interesting list, most books I haven't heard of, so I will try and find them!
ooh you might have convinced me to pick up garielle lutz, whom I wouldn't have thought of otherwise! been meaning to check out müller, too, at some point

also v curious about this! i love me a kooky read!
I've been thinking about picking up the stone diaries for yrs but after this review probably won't it doesn't look like a good choice for anyone prone to suicidal ideation haha⚛😀
Yay! Someone agrees with me that “A little Life” is crap. I love books that explore suffering but that book was pain porn.
Like the Monty Python scene "bring out your dead!" Bring out your trauma!
