- This video highlights the recent new profit rates for National Savings Scheme Behbood Savings Certificate (focused on senior citizens and Pensioners benefit). State bank has reduced the interest rates due to changes in the monetary policy in Mid April 2020, therefore National Savings has also reflected the recent changes for the profit rates for all savings certificates and reduced the profit rates 3rd time this year (latest is on 2nd June 2020). These new rates will be applicable for new Investors only investing after 2nd June 2020. Watch the video for further details. Please note that this rate sheet is Tentative in nature and you must cross-verify and validate with the National Savings at the time of buying your savings certificate to avoid any issues.

if we reinvest monthly profit in behbood certificates than frofit will be same at the time of purchase or new profit rate at the time of reinvest

Mawazna TV.I had invested some amount in Bahbood certificate and pension benefits acct.10 years Limit of my both acts completed in Feb 2018.I could not get their renewal being in abroad.And also not drawn profit of about one year.probably I can go Pakistan next year.please advise me solution about the renewal of my accounts and to draw my outstanding profit.Thanks.

If the profit rate increase in future can we get benefits on old certificates purchased on low rates as on 2nd june 2020
Excellent question. Yes that way it works is if the rate increases, you get increase automatically from that day but if the rate decreases, your invesment will stick as per your original rate. So the answer is yes but the increase will only count from the date when the increase was announced. Hope it is clear. Thanks
