I highly doubt they used Pervitin. It had pretty spectacular sideffects. Wasnt uncommon when solders went kinda crazy, extreme paranoia was quite common occurance. Also comedown was supposedly pretty dreadful, could take you out of action for many days.
Modern day pure amphetamine isnt half as bad as this poison was. Atleast thats what ive been told.

Meth is absurd , and has absurd side effects that are debilitating, i.e. "tweaking". Tweakers are for the most part out of action in any organized, sane, safe, or useful way. They might disassemble the jet with a Leatherman and pull all the wiring out to go scrap, but flying the jet?? No way .....

its not a history lesson. Its propaganda ffs. You can find a lot of good information on drug use and drug abuse in wartime. This isnt one of the sources.
In short. Drugs such as perventin have been proposed, tested in small numbers and then forbidden. Pilots would still use drugs as their tasks often require superhuman endurance. This still happens today in every active army and it happend back then in every active army.
What you really should consider is the wide spread drug abuse (amphetamine and even coffein in form of the drink or pills) to enhance working performance in peace times. That is true insanity.
@@LockenJohny101 I see your point, and it's not that I didn't get that idea, it's just that in short, a lot of Germany's history unfortunately did involve a lot of propaganda which is why I said history lesson in quotes. I wasn't aware of the drug use aspect and how strongly it was used to invigorate the forces, seeing as they don't teach that in schools in America, and so I did learn something. To be fair, I could have worded this a bit better in hindsight, but I can't change that now.

I came across this song about a month or so ago and I Love it. Ive been a Rammstein fan since the 90's. I discovered Megaherz early stuff years back and they were awesome...For me, I love the fast paced industrial techno backround with heavy guitar riffs or vice versa..Can anyone recommend anything else very similar to this song I might like?
